Why does the sleeping mask need to be wiped off in the morning?

Dear Customer, We recommend you wipe off any remaining residue in the morning as the mask works overnight and you may have some dry, dead skin cells that have softened overnight. By gently wiping off your lips in the morning you will remove these dead skin cells. If the product has fully absorbed you may not have anything to remove in the morning which is completely fine. Also, if you are applying lipstick or other lip color products you may want to gently wipe your lips to ensure the best lip color application. Thank you.
