No plastic touches the water! Works well and has a premium look. My only complaint is that the minimum and maximum water level indicators are only one side so you have to hold with your right hand when filling.

So adorable little kettle. I was hesitant at first, but it heats up pretty fast even when the water is almost to the top. I have always wanted a metal one and this one is definitely the one! Looks so stunning and adorable, the box it came in also lol so stylish! Huge shoutout to the designers! Amazing value for the money!

I suppose most people purchase this for the kitchen counter, but I wanted one for my home office. I really like the styling and the color works so well with my office décor. The kettle heats quickly and then automatically shuts-off. There is an audible “click” as the “on” lever moves back to the “off” position and the blue LED indicator goes out when the heating cycle is complete.👍 Likes: Styling, color, durable stainless-steel construction, 360-degree positioning on the heating dock so the handle is always at the right angle to grab a quick cup.😢 Not so much: The relatively short power cord is great for the kitchen countertop, but I found it too short to reach the wall plug in the office. The heating dock is mostly made of plastic. I expected a more heavy-duty design to compliment the nice construction of the kettle. An audible “beep” when the heating cycle completes would be a nice feature to add.Home MacGruber tip: Cord too short? Be sure to use a heavy-duty power strip, rather than a common household extension cord, to get a power receptacle closer to where you want your kettle placed.

Overall I am pleased with this Hazel Quinn electric kettle. It sits on the powered based. I like that the electrical cord can be wound around the base to shorten the amount that leaves the base. I have an electrical outlet very close to where I want to set this, so it works well not to have too much extra cord sticking out of the base. The handle is comfortable enough, and it keeps my fingers away from the side which does get warm. Inside marks for minimum and maximum water levels. Lid is easy to lift off and it snaps securely in place.This is rated at 1200 watts, which is near the upper limit on how powerful these can be in the US. It doesn’t boil the water as quickly as it might if you were using a European one in the UK for example, but it’s still reasonably quick. My normal morning routine is to fill the kettle with water and turn it on, grind the coffee beans with a manual coffee grinder, fill the French press, and put milk in the frother. By the time I do all that the water is just about ready to boil.So far I’ve just rinsed this out after using it and left the lid off for it to dry out. Haven’t really had to clean it yet. However, that may be a bit more difficult for me than with some other kettles. I do have very large hands and the opening on top is just too small for my hand to fit.I am pleased with this . Pleasing neutral look, boils water a quick as any others I’ve used in the US. I certainly can wholeheartedly recommend this Hazel Quinn electric kettle.

Well it's cute and heats the water... but it's cheaply made

This is so cute! I love the Hazel Quinn brand. They have really cool designs and the quality is really good. I have vintage and retro appliances for my kitchen and this fits in really well with a coffee bar I am putting together. It doesn't have the temperature settings or anything fancy. But she's pretty and she gets the job done!The body, lid, and spout are all made of metal. The white on the outside is a nice matte finish paint coating. It has a matching heating plate that looks like it is part of the pot itself.This pot has the auto off switch so when it reaches a boil it turns right off. It was really quiet and has no indicator lights that it is working, so after about 20 seconds I felt the pit and it was warm so I knew it was working. It is not insulated, so when it reaches boiling the outside is hot to the touch just like any other kettle.It took a few minutes for the pot to reach a boil and then it just clicked off. I always always always forget that I am boiling water and my last kettle made a few beeps when it was done and shut off. This pot does not beep or make any indication of being done besides hearing the switch move into the off position. That is a neutral for me!

This electric kettle boils water quickly and if it's had to say it takes about a good 3 - 4 minutes. Its very stylish and holds a lot of water. I feel thisbis one of the better kettles you can buy on amazon. Definitely worth buying if you eat a lot of noodles, drink Tea or instant coffee, or if you need something to take with you on a trip or camping (provided you have a power source)
