Shopped around for an all around mid ankle boot. This boot checks all the boxes. Super comfortable and easy to slip on and off. Sturdy enough to walk on all surfaces. Lightweight and waterproof. Would highly recommend this boot for anyone looking for an affordable alternative to the big brand name styles. I do wear a size 12 athletic shoe but went with size 11 and they fit perfectly.

Great rain, dog-walking, gardening, car-washing boots! Good quality, soles are thicker so you do not feel every pebble when you walk. Color is not important to me, these are OD green. Pull-tabs to help slip them on are a nice feature. I wear a size 9M in most shoes. These are a size 9, good fit with average to thin socks. If you need to bundle up with thick socks you may need to go up a half-size or so. These are priced right.

After too many hours researching all of these types of boots, I decided to order the Kalkal Deck Boots and I am very happy that I chose the Kalkal Boots over all of the other brands that are available on Amazon. I live in the Northeast, our weather is cold in the winter - hot in the summer and rains regularly. I have snow boots that I wear when the snow is really deep but I have been very pleased with the Kalkal boots on my trips outside to the Chicken Coop. You can wipe or rinse whatever you get on the boots right off very easily, they are deck boots so the soles of the boots are not deep tread and do not get filled up with mud and muck. In other reviews I have seen people complaine about the pull tabs being torn from the boot. The boots are rubber and neoprene (wetsuit) material, they are not leather boots that will withstand great force being applied to the straps. I would call the straps "hold open" straps and not pull on straps, the hold open straps work great and will last the life of the boots if you simply use the straps to hold open the boot while you step into the boots. After wearing for a while my foot almost slips right in without needing the use the straps. If you use the straps to hold open the boot while you slip your foot in you will not have any issues with breaking. The Kalkal boots are extremely comfortable, I wear them everyday and even forget I have my boots on, it's winter so I can't speak to the boots breathability in hot and humid weather. I will say that I have not had an issue with my feet being overheated when I forget to take them off when I go inside the house. I wear a mens size 9.5 and I ordered a size 9 and a size 8 (thank you Amazon Prime for your generous return policy), the size 8 was too tight for me but if you like a snug fit that would work for you. The size 9 fit just right in that I can wear a thick sock in winter and have warm/dry feet when outside and in summer I can wear a thinner sock without the boots being too big and have my foot flopping around inside the boot. I am very happy with my purchase of Kalkal Deck Boots, I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for this type of boot.

Super comfortable! Easy to slip on and has just the right extra room for bulk socks but feet don’t swim in ways that rub the wrong way. I’m super happy with the perfect fit. Been needing some of these for a while, living in a temperate rainforest, where they are just right to keep feet warm but not too warm. Adjustable temp because extra sock room! 😁 I LOVE the color, green is my favorite 🤩 can be hard to find it. Really looks like a sturdy boot! The soles really are anti-slip, a necessity for this kind of boot. They even have those little tabs that make slipping them in easier and give extra ways to hang them for drying. Oh yeah and they didn’t smell like any perfume, which I also LOVE 😍 All at a great price too! I normally wear a size 10 so i purchased a size down (9) and it fits perfect. Great product, comfortable, stylish and does what its supposed to do. Will buy again and highly recommend this.

I love my new Kalkal waterproof, rubber boots. They are light and sturdy and comfortable, the sole inside is very comfortable and gives just enough. I was mislead by one review that said the sizing was a little large so I ordered my regular size, knowing that actually a boot like this is not going to be comfortable and work well, at least for me, unless is is totally larger than normal footwear. My size fit, but it was too confining and hot. I returned them and ordered a full size larger (from 10.5 to 11.5) and the boot is perfect to wear and work in as it moves slightly around my feet as I walk staying cool and comfortable.

So many of these reviews say these boots are comparable to some of the top-of-the-line hundred dollar boots. They are 100% correct. They are well-made, comfortable, and I honestly can’t tell a difference between these and some of the popular hundred dollar boots. Some of the reviews mentioned sizing up or sizing down or that these were true to size. I wear a size 10 in most shoes, but I wear a 9 1/2 in Vans and a 9 in Converse All-Stars. My foot is also fairly narrow with a normal arch. I read a review of someone with the same exact shoe size as I have, and I ordered a size 9 as they suggested. It fits perfectly, and I still have a little room in the toe. I live at the beach so I typically wear these without socks, but there is room enough to wear socks in them in the colder months. I will absolutely stick with this brand of boot for my next purchase.
