I cannot get over how much I love the way they turned out. They were SO easy to install, so worth the cost, and I get so many compliments on them. I got them originally because I have 3 dogs and they jump on the blinds when they hear or see anyone outside and break them, but also because I wanted to let more daylight in my house without worrying about neighbors seeing in. They are perfect for privacy, cast the most stunning rainbows in the home which I LOVE, and were super easy to put up. I made some mistakes with my first install (cut a little too short) but nobody has even noticed. Second install I did much better because I figured out if I cut a square just a tad larger than the window I could use just a sharp pocket knife, box cutter, or razor to slice it to size after I’ve stuck it to the window. I washed my windows first then got a like $1-2 little spray bottle from Kroger I filled with soap and water and drenched the window. I peeled the film off the back after I cut a square a tad bigger than my window, then fit one corner in until it laid flat almost all the way across. Then I used a razor to slice the film on the oversized edges to get it the right size. It seriously took me no more than 10 min including prep. Scissors work too just be sure you measure if you do it that way. I actually used an old dvd case to get the air bubbles out, and they’re just gorgeous. Nobody can see in the windows day or night, dogs can’t break my blinds, and I have such gorgeous daylight in my home. I leave the blinds up all the time now :) I intend to get more to do my back windows, too. I’ve got it up in my little kitchen window too (not pictured) so I can leave it up for my little kitchen plants without my neighbors seeing in. BUY IT. Worth it.

Challenging to remove protective layer but worth it, in the end. I have installed window film many times and this was the hardest to find that edge to separate the film from the protective film. Other than that, easy and looks great.

So first off I'd like to say I really like the pattern on this window film and it's just as easy to install as any other window film I've done. The triangle pattern is so beautiful and fits our room's aesthetic really well. We installed it in our room to add privacy for changing since you can see the neighbor's house from our window. (See pictures) It provides the perfect amount of privacy for us without having to have a curtain and lets in so much natural light (great for our plants and our working space)! We even got rid of our curtains because of it! I love when the sunlight hits that window near the end of the day and makes rainbows in the room.Here's where our only problem lies with this particular film and we wanted to just warn others ahead of time about this specific situation... GET THE FILM TO FIT THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE WINDOW! So this film comes in a couple of different lengths and sizes. We decided we could save some money and have enough film if we just made two rows of film on each window. That's where our problem began... The issue is the pattern on the triangles repeats itself in the middle of the pattern and not very often, so matching the pattern on the seam was very difficult and wasteful since we had to move the film up or down 12 inches to match it. For the second half of the windows, we were patching together the film to have the pattern right and even ended up cutting 40 individual triangles out at the end to make a new pattern because we ran out of film and couldn't get the pattern to match up anymore... The adhesion is fine on the sections with the bigger pieces of film, but those individual triangles we put in have the corners peeling off every once in a while. A job that took us 30-40 minutes to complete with another film pattern on another window turned into a whole afternoon situation. Never again will I buy film that doesn't fit the window!! I didn't knock a star because I don't think the company expects people to use two layers next to each other, but I wish the pattern was cut to repeat nicely...
