used the Blazing Brown shade of Glaze SuperGloss, and it did actually change my color — I noticed my dark hair took on richer tones, not just a shine boost. I found the bottle a bit hard to squeeze (others have noted this too), but once you get it flowing it goes on easily. The clarity of color result surprised me: my brunette looked deeper and more vibrant after rinse‑out. It didn’t cover all gray hairs (not a full dye), but improved the tone and look significantly. Value for money: At the price, this is a strong option if you want to refresh and deepen your natural brunette tone without a full color treatment. The combination of color change + conditioning adds good value. Slip resistance / Grip for hair? More like overall wearability — the formula left my hair feeling smoother and less prone to flyaways. The texture afterward: soft, glossy, and manageable. One caveat is that effects may fade quicker if you wash hair often; some users reported results lasting fewer washes than claimed. Summary: If you’re a brunette looking for a at‑home gloss that actually adds tone (not just clear shine), this product did the job for me. 1st time using, color licorice, product colored my ends well, my thick frizzy hair was tamed and manageable the product added softness and shine, I did use a lot of product but I have a lot of hair. Overall I was throughly impressed and immediately ordered another bottle.

so for the first time i used this product it made my hair exactly how i pictured it would look before i used it, it had a subtle hint of a chocolate cherry color with a nice shine to it and i used it a second time and for the first couple days it was really pretty but then i noticed my hair was suddenly really dark and i thought well maybe it was because my hair was just dirty but then when i got into the shower the water was a black/dark greenish grey color so then i was really confused because it was red previously when i washed it from the first use and then when i went to shampoo my hair the soap was a dark grey ish black color. idk what happened or why it turned out like this but the bottle said it was for brunettes and i am a natural brunette so idk why it turned my hair really really dark/almost black. i'm kinda 50/50. it's an okay product and on the plus side i think it lasts longer than most hair tints..

I have mixed feelings about this gloss, hence the 3 star review. Pros: it definitely deposits color. My natural color is a light reddish brown, and this gloss gave it a rich dark brown hue. I did leave it on for 30 mins instead of the recommended 10. Cons: it's so, so messy. Even if you wear gloves to protect your hands, this stuff stains your counters, shower, and towel. I've used Wella and Loreal glosses, and neither stained or bled like this one. The hassle of cleaning up after using this, just for a color refresh that lasts a few days, just isn't worth it for me. Everyone is different, and I can't speak to how the other color options fare. This gloss does work, but just a heads up that it's super messy if you decide to purchase it.

I don't have a good before photo to use, but it made my hair a little darker and had nice shine. I recommend using gloves and having a towel to help protect because its still dye. Easy to apply though and the shower will look scary at first but just rinse it and you're fine, haha.

I’ve honestly been using glaze for a couple of years now and have never had a bad experience. For background, I have long colored and highlighted hair that has been processed many, many times. My hair gets tangled easily and is pretty damaged with not a lot of shine towards the bottom. I’ve tried other products and fell off using glaze for the last year (idk why I did that). I’ve always used the clear gloss one but decided to use the blazing brown one this time, since I now have dark hair with brown highlights. Here are my thoughts: The color and gloss definitely is amazing. I applied it on dry unwashed hair and left it on for a good 10 mins. It definitely stains but I didn’t wear gloves. I worked in sections and washed my hair every minute or so, that way the stain doesn’t settle, and then comb through with a brush to distribute. I wash it off and shampoo/conditioner like normal. The color is deeper and healthier than before. My hair actually moves now! I don’t know why I ever stopped using it tbh. I will never stray again

This color is really pretty and does make your hair super shiny……….. but if you have highlights of any shade don’t buy it . My daughter had ash brown highlights and it turned her hair blue .

I love this product. I get glazes/glosses done at the salon instead of full on permanently dyeing my hair. I wanted a nice little cheaper DIY alternative to darken my color a bit and keep it nice and smooth in between salon visits. This product does a wonderful job of making my hair so smooth, shiny, and soft. The bottle says the color lasts about 10 washes? I'd say I get maybe 6 out of it, max. So I do wish it lasted a tad longer but overall, a nice DIY alternative

I love this and have bought it in many colours in the past as I changed my hair. Leaves hair looking fresh and shiny like you've been to the hairdressers. Perfect for that time between visits. This colour is great just as the others were. Freshen my black hair and blends the roots to be less noticeable. The pump is q necessary great addition but I would still like a more flexible/squeezable bottle design. Does not put me off though. I tried many other similar products and non compare with pigmentation and shine!

Honestly, I was so ready to write a bad review as I was so worried when I applied this as it really looked like a rich red colour and I was convinced it was going to dye my hair red as opposed to the dark rich brown advertised. My God, how wrong could I have been! There is a tiny smidging of warmth in certain lights but the colour is absolutely amazing, the condition, texture and let's talk about the shine!! I wouldn't have believed that this much shine could come from a bottle, let's face it its so rare that products actually do what they say but this one delivers and some! My only question is how often can I use it? I'm now a lifelong fan!

A good product to use if you need to enrich your colour in-between salon visits or home colourings. Gives a good root smudge, so disguises the root line. Nice and conditioning on the hair; the pump that comes with the bottle is useful as it would be difficult to squeeze the product out without it. It’s just a bit on the expensive side, but I think we’ll get three or four uses out of it for long hair.

Does not work!! Tried it on dry hair and dump hair it showed a little when I used it on dry but barely deffinetly not lasting all the washes they claim. Hard to get out of the bottle had to squeeze the hell out of that bottle for some product to come out. I used a loreall gloss that was cheaper and lasted me longer and worked better than this. Just an overhyped products that does not work not worth the money one bit

I was looking for something to refresh my brunette colour between salon visits and this exceeded my expectations. The Sleek Espresso shade added richness to my hair without looking flat or overly dark. What impressed me most was the shine it genuinely looks like I've just had a salon appointment. My hair feels silky, smooth and much healthier after one use. So easy to apply too! Got one for my daughter in her shade and we made a girls night of it.
