How do you connect the iphone to apple carplay? i know it’s supposed to be the usb but i don’t see it in the front.?

There is a USB cable that comes out of the back. You need to either run a lightening cable under the dash, or replace a cigarette lighter with a USB bulkhead connector. There are 2 USB cables at the back, one for carplay and one for power.

Does Apple CarPlay works wireless?

In my experience no, you have to have your phone plugged to your charger which is plugged in to the apple carplay port in order for it to play. The one benefit to that is your phone will be charging while in use though, just food for thought.

Does the "av in" serve as the "aux in"?

It can work as an aux in. It is an RCA input so you will need to adapt from 3.5 mm to RCA

Can anyone with polarized sunglasses confirm how easy/hard this is to see when rotating your lenses?

Polarized lenses makes it a little harder for me but if I move my head it clears up
