Top notch filter system
Top line filter system that purifies the water very well it's easy to use and makes the water not only pure to drink but also taste very good, I did have some problems after the first filter change but a call to Robert at iSpring took care of the problem right away the same day, if you are looking for a top notch filter system and good American based customer support this is the system or other iSpring systems are some of the very best with great customer service, and thank you for the help and great customer service

Tastes great!
This system was easy to install. We had an RO system we were renting from Culligan. This tastes SO much better and has more effective filtration. We have not had to contact customer service, which is good so I can't speak to that. I Recommend!

Tastes good, good for you
I’ll never choose to drink filtered water over RO water again if I have a choice. Taste so good and I’m getting minerals I need vs them being removed completely. Get it! You won’t regret it. No leaks, but I’ve heard they leak eventually so I put the unit in a short plastic tub under the sink just in case it ever does.

Customer Service BAD
Have had nothing but problems. System is not working properly requires a constant reset as the system begins beeping at least once a week. Absolutely no customer service. Don’t expect to speak to anyone to solve issues. You must send email and patiently wait for a return call or message which has never been prompt. Would not recommend this water filter company!

Great Customer Service
I purchased the iSpring RO5004F-AK about six months ago. Shortly after installing it, the unit began beeping because of an issue with the UV system. I contacted iSpring and spoke with Laurence, who was extremely helpful and explained how to reset the unit. That resolved the problem. Six months later, a similar issue occurred, but this time the lights were flashing and the beeping would not stop. I contacted Laurence again, and he immediately sent me a brand-new head unit—essentially a new RO5004F-AK, minus the filter cartridges. The replacement completely fixed the issue, and the system now runs even better than before. It is rare these days to find a company that responds so quickly and truly stands behind its products without giving customers the runaround. iSpring’s customer service has been outstanding. Thank you, Laurence!

A very good RO system with remineralization.
The iSpring RO5004F-AK is a space saving under sink Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtering system that has some other value-added features. These are in no particular order, as they are all beneficial to me, and will be beneficial to most folks, though how they would be ranked I’m sure would vary widely. This system has a filter that remineralizes the water with those minerals that are beneficial to health and to the overall taste of the water. The system also includes an LED UV light for sterilization to kill pathogens. The final plus, at least for my situation, others might prefer the “old” style system, but this system is tankless. This saves space under the sink, as the pressure tanks can occupy a fair amount of space. The tankless system uses an electric pump to pressurize the system. There is one thing that I think is important to know about any RO System is that there is always wastewater, this is unlike a distillation system that only leaves behind the impurities. RO systems will have a ratio listed somewhere in the information; this model is a 2:1system. For every 2 cups of water that comes out of the faucet, 1 cup is disposed of into the sinks drain system, and so for every 2 gallons of usable water there is 1 gallon of wastewater. Some systems are a 1:1 and so in areas where water is extremely expensive or in short supply, having ½ your drinking water gets sent directly down the drain, that could get expensive. The cost concern would be the same in locations with high sewage rates. There are more efficient systems out there that are 3:1 and even 4:1 (4 gallons drinking water and 1 gallon of wastewater down the drain). So, this needs to be factored into the operating costs of the system, along with replacement filters, and electricity. Installing the system can take from just some basic skills like using a wrench, a screwdriver, and a drill, if you have an available electrical outlet under your sink. However, the skill level would increase if an outlet would need to be installed, and may require the services of a registered electrician, depending upon your state or local laws. The system lets you know when a filter needs to be replaced, the same is true of the LED UV light. The filters vary from 6 months to 2 years of operating life, and the UV bulb is rated for 8,000 hours. Once you replace the needed filter you reset the system for that particular filter. From some of the low rated reviews it does seem that there may have been or may still be an issue that some of the main unit that all the filters screw into may be faulty, with error lights flashing from the outset or a few weeks or months of use, but almost all that encountered that issue stated that the customer service department of iSpring is incredibly helpful and easy to deal with and these folks had new units shipped to them. When it comes to electronics there is always going to be a certain number of units that fail prematurely. This does not appear to be too widespread based on my research. Other folks who contacted Customer Service for other issues or just for some general information also speak highly of the representatives. I have not needed to contact them, but I M glad to know that they will be helpful if needed. Finally, installation was not at all difficult. I already had a 4th hole in my double bowl sink, and the ingenious design of the faucet installation from the top of the sink takes away the most difficult part of the plumbing part of the installation. Fortunately, I already had an available outlet for my dishwasher that I could plug the unit into. Overall, I would recommend this RO system as really good. The only thing that makes this a 4 star and not a five is the 2:1 pure to waste ratio of water, a 3:1 or higher would have made this totally awesome.

Great support from iSpring. Replaced unit after reporting fault.
UPDATE: upgrading from a two-star rating to a five-star rating. Francis from iSpring reached out to me and, after a few troubleshooting steps, identified that the "head unit" was faulty. He promptly ordered a new head unit, which arrived two days later. After replacing the old unit with the new one, everything is functioning as expected. I will update this review if the replacement turns out to be problematic. So far, I’m a satisfied customer. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Like other people, the 2nd and 3rd cartridges started blinking & beeping approx 15 days after iI installed. Resetting did not do anything. I tried to reach out to iSpring, but my call goes to the voicemail. I had previously bought a iSpring RO system with tank in 2018. It worked flawlessly until last month when i decided to upgrade to this model. All i can say is that iSpring quality had gone down the drain.
