Compré esta máquina de palomitas y, sinceramente, no puedo recomendarla. 1. No tiene botón de encendido/apagado. Hay que conectarla y desconectarla directamente de la corriente, lo cual es muy incómodo. Alternativamente, hay que usar un adaptador con interruptor. Esto me parece inaceptable para un electrodoméstico. 2. La tapa superior es inestable y constantemente se mueve o se cae, lo que también resulta bastante molesto durante el uso. 3. En cuanto al resultado, no puedo decir que haga palomitas especialmente buenas. En mi experiencia, no hay una diferencia significativa frente a las que se hacen en microondas. Es la primera vez que utilizo una máquina de este tipo, así que no sé si esto es común en esta categoría. Sin embargo, según mi experiencia personal, no quedé satisfecho y no la recomendaría.

Great little popper! Almost no unpopped kernels, each piece crisp and fluffy and in just a couple of minutes. It’s to easy to use and clean. The butter well with handle is perfect as a cover for the top and it melts fat rapidly. I use virgin coconut oil which is harder to melt but it worked perfectly. It’s just really well designed for ease of use and very compact so it takes very little space on the counter. I will caution that the handle of the butter well gets really hot and maybe use a dishcloth or other barrier when lifint it or you may get a hot oil burn. Depending on how much you eat, this easily serves two to four people. I highly recommend this product, but we’ll see how long it lasts - appliances wear out so rapidly these days. I’ll report back on that.

Finally a hot air popper that does what it’s supposed to. Pops almost every kernel without too many flying, stray kernels making you question if you should be wearing safety goggles. No overheating smells. Yes, the lid gets hot as I saw in a couple remarks. They all do. The measuring cups at the top also doubles for melting your butter if you choose. (We melt out separately). Don’t waste your money on the cheaper models out there. Love it!

Great quality and I’m loving my air popped popcorn! I like it that you don’t have to ad any oil to pop it. It tastes so good even without anything added to it. Only complaint would be that it doesn’t have an on and off switch. You just plug it in when you’re using it and unplug to turn it on. Overall I’m happy with it though!

And you may ask yourself... 'why would i spend $100 on a popcorn maker' well.. i have to say this is way better than our old one. faster, i like the on off switch. tried it with 3 diff popcorns. 1. Orville Red ( worked best but Orville is American so boycotting him for now) 2. PC purple popcorn. Very good. some kernels.. not the machines fault 3. Uncle Bobs CANADIAN popcorn. worked great. big kernels. no burning I'd recommend even just to rid yourself of your old crappy maker.. this is faster , light and really impressed.
