Patient Aid Patient Transfer Handling Belt, Padded Walking Gait Belt with Quick Release Buckle, Size Medium

My wife has Parkinson’s for seven years and her balance s almost entirely gone. This has REALLY helped prevent falls. Once the fall occurs then Parkinson’s stability levels take a deep dive and the patient has to be monitored. This belt is a real god sent and insures against falls. The belt buckle snap is stiff at first but over time and use the click mechanism is easy to snap and put on and take off.

The handles are conveniently located on the belt and makes transferring easy. Also it's padded so it can be left on and doesn't dig into the skin. I like the quick release buckle. It makes it easy to get off and on. Great belt. One thing I would mention....after I got the size set for my Mom, I sewed the belt to the padding so it wouldn't slip up and down. The majority is already attached....it's only the last 12' or so. The size is adjustable.

This belt is great for both user and helper. Makes assisting easier and more comfortable for the person being assisted
