I got the 84" one for my new house. Looks amazing and works great. Install is not too hard if you put the blades on the motor before lifting it into place. Be sure to get the slot and ridge on the ball lined up. Turn the down rod until it drops into place. To install the blades, use a phillips screwdriver or something to poke in where the screws go, to line up the holes in the blade cover plate, blades, and motor. Otherwise it's hard to get the screws started.

We bought the 84" outdoor fan (June 1st) and it was installed today (July 17th) by our contractor. The motor does not work at all. Since we had a delay in the installation due to contractor demand in our area, Amazon would not accept a return. Amazon referred us to the manufacturer. I tried calling several times and the call is dropped. I tried chat but no one answered after > 1 hour. While Amazon is usually understanding of these situations , they have been totally unhelpful and the manufacturer is not responsive. Disappointed in both businesses- no accountability and you'd think that they'd understand the delay in installation given how tied up contractors are now a days. ;-(((

I purchased the 84 and it didnt feel like it was blowing at ALL!!! contacted the seller on here and they sent me the 72 which blows really hard. I read a review that said they had both and the 72 on 1 is better than the 84 on 6...This is a fact..The 72 really is something special and works GREAT!!! The reviewer I read said he didn't think they adjusted the blades for a 84..I think it's the motor. It appears to be the same motor and just can't turn the 84's as fast...an Engineer would have to say..BOTTOM LINE!!!! get the 72 inch fan...Gave 5 stars because the company sent me a 72 inch fan 6 weeks after I bought a 84

I bought the 84" fan and the airflow is amazing, as many others have reported. The fan is also very quiet, and was very well balanced out of the box. Installation was generally straightforward, except that the controller is tucked above the downrod in a very messy way. I couldn't find a nice way to organize all the wires, and it worried me that I would pinch them. This mess is handled with your hands over your head. That was icky. My only other observation for improvement is that the remote is curved and sits in a nice included wall bracket, but the curve means the remote isn't very usable in the wall bracket. Either the holder or remote should have a flat spot so buttons can be pushed while the remote is on the wall. I doubt I'll ever use the remote out of the wall bracket. I installed the fan with a 36" downrod. It works with a Hunter-compatible downrod. I did have to extend the wires. The fan starts rather awkwardly which may be due to the longer wires. It seems to "think" a little bit before it gets going, but it does work fine. It also seems to recall the last setting when I flip the power switch on (i.e., when I stop it by cutting power with a standard wall switch).
