My tv only has one optical audio outlet which was being used by my Sonos Sound Bar. I needed a second outlet for TV Play for my Widex Hearing Aids. This was perfect for the job. Now my wife can view the tv with volume that suits her and I can do the same. If either of us change the volume to suite ourselves we don’t affect each other’s volume. Brilliant. Very easy to fit. Just plug the tethered cable into the optical port on the tv and plug in, in my case, the sound bar and TV Play and it worked out of the box. Couldn’t be easier. Recommended.

I recently bought a gaming chair with speekers and the reciver has optical output but i had a sound bar allready had a optic cable pluged into my tv so had to keep swapping the cable but now i can swap between sound bar and gameing chair no problem

Does not work.

Needed this for splitting the optical from a TV so that I could attach both SoundBar and Bluetooth linked Headphones. it works fine, there was some breakup on Soundbar caused by a cheap optical lead (didn't seem to click in properly), replaced this and all is well.

Allowed me to split the single optical output from my new TV to sound bar and headphones.

Works in reverse . Which is why I bought it. So my TV and CD player both have optical out but amplifier only one input and this solved my problem. Great!

Did the job of connecting sound bar to tv

Doesn't only feels cheap but also connects quite loosy due terrible size tolerances.For optical audio, as long as there is an straight connection between the two fibers, the sound will be good, meaning this product connector must be hold in place via additional means.I'll be buying a replacement soon.

Comprato per dividere il segnale ottico in uscita dal tv: la prima linea verso la soundbar, la seconda verso il bluetooth. Funziona alla perfezione.

Perfecto para conectar unos cascos inalámbricos que compré para mi padre. Se conecta perfectamente con este adaptador.
