Most important note is these have a solid top, not a two piece canning top. Lids screw on easy and don't seem to leak when turned upside down or shaken. Washed up nice in the dishwasher. Glass is plain but functional.

Mason is a brand. These are just jars with a lid that does not seal.When I shake liquid leaks.

I ordered the 2 Pack 16oz Wide Mouth Mason Jars for my wife to make kids pudding. they are in perfect size and can be use in many different ways. our kids like them very much. My wife usually make them pudding and fill the jars, kids eat half and place them back in the refrigerator. the lids seal the jar tight, the jars work very well for our family.

These jars are the same size as Ball brand pint jars. There are no nicks or pitting in the glass, so they seal well. At the same time, if you’re spending $9 for two pints jars, you’re either a fool, or it’s the zombie apocalypse because there are no jars available.

I prefer these more compact sized jars to the regular mason jars. I don’t always need to store that much. The wider mouth also makes it easier to transfer contents from another container without a mess.

These wide mouth glass jars are good quality, but the glass seems thinner than the typical mason jars. I like the one piece lids since I will not use them for canning. I plan to use the jars for creamed honey and they work well for that purpose.The jars are rather expensive compared to the average price for mason jars.

I use jars everyday for cooking, homemade projects, etc. I’m really happy with this set of 2! The lids fit well and I like that the jars are plain with no impressed glass on the sides. The price is great and I’d definitely recommend them!
