CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR offers excellent value, performance, and build quality.
I waited a couple of months before writing this review to make sure I had enough hands-on experience—and I’m glad I did. This system has exceeded my expectations and is absolutely worth the price.I’ve always built my own PCs, and my last build from 2019 served me well. But it was starting to show its age, so I began planning a new build. After pricing out similar specs and spotting a Prime Day deal, I realized I couldn’t match the value of this prebuilt. I did my homework, and CyberPowerPC came out ahead. Here’s what came in my setup:• Case: CyberPowerPC Amethyst 240S (White)• Motherboard: Gigabyte DS3H AX V2• Processor: Intel Core i7-14700F (no integrated graphics, but not an issue thanks to the dedicated GPU)• Memory: TeamGroup 16GB DDR5 6000MHz (38-46-46-84)• Storage: Western Digital Green 1TB SSD• Power Supply: High Power 850W• Graphics Card: PNY GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB VRAMIt also came with an RGB keyboard (NOHI 02) and mouse (Elite M2). I’ve been using the keyboard—it’s responsive, has decent RGB effects, and lighting is controlled directly from the board (no software required). I haven’t used the mouse yet, but it seems solid.Gaming performance has been excellent. Titles like Helldivers 2 and Company of Heroes run flawlessly—no stuttering, no crashes, just smooth gameplay. The system is impressively quiet. If it weren’t for the RGB lighting on the fans and RAM, you might not even notice it’s powered on.The white case and customizable RGB lighting look fantastic. You can tweak the lighting using Gigabyte’s Control Center (RGB Fusion) or third-party apps like SignalRGB.I initially thought I might need more RAM, but 16GB has been more than enough. I use the system for gaming, web browsing, media development (mostly audio and image work), and spreadsheets for both personal and professional tasks. One minor issue: when I first powered it on, the hard drive activity light didn’t work. After checking the wiring, I found the HDD LED and system reset wires were swapped. It was a quick fix, but worth mentioning.Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. If it holds up as well as my last build, I may never go back to self-building—CyberPowerPC might have earned a long-term customer. It’s a well-balanced system with above-average specs at a very reasonable price, especially if you catch it on sale.It may not max out every game on ultra settings, but for my needs, it looks great and runs like a dream. Highly recommended for gamers and power users looking for a solid prebuilt system.

Choosing a Gaming Machine for my Grandson
Why did you pick this product vs others?:So, my grandson showed an intense interest in severe weather phenomena and in how thathappens. In particular, he was fascinated with how Tornados occur and with a couple of“storm-chaser” computer games that simulate how you determine where they will formand enable you to chase them and gather data to help you understand that. He had alreadyfound two games, “Tornados: Research and Rescue” and “Outbrk,” that he wanted forthat.Being an engineer, I was excited about my grandson’s interest in this and wanted to helphim pursue it. His parents, however, had Apple computers and both games he had chosenwould only run under Microsoft Windows. My first thought was to upgrade an old Dell Vostro I had and give it to him to run thesegames, but I quickly determined that was NOT a viable path. It was clear that both gameshe wanted needed a modern, powerful graphics card, a significantly faster CPU, muchmore RAM, and a much faster hard drive than my old Dell could be modified to provide.Further research led me to the CyberPowerPC Gamer Master series for what I needed. Iwas impressed with the reviews I found for these machines, and independent reviews forthe component used in them. The quality of the overall machine and the components usedwas primary in my decision, as I wanted to find something I was confident would work formy grandson now and through Middle and High School. I also thought my grandson wouldlove the lighting that is characteristic of these machines and the fact that he could see allthe components through the case (which turned out to be correct).I initially tried a CyberPowerPC with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6GHz 6-Core CPU, AMD B550Chipset with 16GB DRR4 RAM, 500 GB 500GB PCIe Gen4 SSD, and Radeon RX6400 4GBGraphics card. This looked to be a very capable machine at a very attractive price. However, it barely met the minimum specs for the Outbrk, the most stressing game mygrandson wanted. After receiving it and setting it up, I found that it would indeed run bothgames, but it was like watching snails play leapfrog—a totally frustrating experience. I knewmy grandson would only be disappointed and I had to get something more powerful.Fortunately, CyberPowerPC has a generous return policy, and I was able to return thatmachine and order a more powerful system with an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F 4.1GHz, 8-CoreCPU, AMD B850 Chipset, 16GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD, and GeForceRTX 5060 Ti 8GB Graphic card. This machine exceeds the recommended specs for Outbrkand both games run beautifully on it. It also delivers, I believe, everything else I was lookingfor.I love the beautiful, rugged metal and plexiglass case that is used for this machine, and thatit has massive cooling capacity that is whisper quiet. The high-quality of the design andconstruction is clearly evident and impressive. I am very happy with it—and so is mygrandson.

Fast, Quiet, and Powerful
I bought this computer after my laptop continued to blue screen on me. It gave me a long life, but it was time to replace it. I did a lot of research before ultimately deciding to buy this PC, and I am really happy that I decided to go with this one over any other PC I was looking into. I am familiar with the brand, which was the main deciding factor, because CyberPower PC is generally known for their good PCs - at least from what I know of them. They have a ton of USB ports, which is awesome coming from my laptop. I love the brightness of its 4 fans, and the fact that it takes absolutely no time to boot compared to my laptop that seems like it takes ages. It's funny how used to outdated graphics cards you get until you get to play on a new one, and I love that I can play all of my favorite games at 60+ FPS with no issues on the highest graphics settings with now performance issues now. The only downside to this PC over others was I was really wanting 32 GB of RAM over 16 GB, however, that was not in my budget at this time, and that is not the seller's fault. I plan on adding more RAM in the future because I CAN NOW :). Very happy with my new toy.
