Got this neon stars connection for my 8 year old and the battery needed to be changed after 2 weeks and now needs to be changed every couple of days sucks :(

My kid love it until it stopped working. A message to replace batteries keeps showing up, no matter how many batteries we replaced already. The egg hatches and after a few hours the same message keeps appearing making impossible to use the Tamagotchi.
