My new go to
The quality of the mix blew me away! I had been buying store mixes thinking I was getting the perfect chunky well draining mix at home and I was wrong. My plants have loved the chunkiness of this, and the drainage has been 100 times better! I’m seeing less root damage and less fungus gnats! Not to mention better growth!

Plants luv it
This is my 4th time purchasing soil from them for a specific plant. I can not stress enough how awesome my plants are doing vs. the ones I did not use their soil on. Absolutely excellentproduct. If you are struggling with a plant baby, this is the answer to you problems.

Very nice quality soil.
Stinky, which tells me it’s high quality lol. It’s a very nice soil, but expensive. So I mix it with a cheaper soil and some perlite and it’s wonderful. My plants love the worm castings. Note on the smell: out of the bag, it’s rank. However, once I put it in the plant pots, I didn’t notice the scent. It could just be the scent fermenting while in transit, so I wouldn’t be deterred by it! Just a heads up.

The best soil mix for citrus trees grown indoors.
I have a number of citrus trees that I am growing indoors. I grow most of our veggies and herbs indoor under LED lights in our large basement with great success, but citrus trees have been a learning experience since they don't do well with a potting soil even with the amendments of perlite, vermiculite, and coco coir that I usually add to my potting soil. In my research, I found that citrus trees do best in a soil of equal parts Canadian peat moss for acidity, potting soil, and perlite and/or vermiculite. This potting soil contains everything required for citrus trees, but I find it to be very expensive since 20 quarts, that would not fill even a 7 gallon pot, costs over $90. The quality of this soil mix is excellent, but, personally, I found it much less expensive to make my own soil mix for my trees. This soil mix is light weight and easy to use if you don't have large trees to plant or maintain. It is no more dusty than any mix that contains peat moss or coco coir, and not at all dusty once moistened. This mix functions great as a citrus soil, but I wouldn't recommend it, because of the cost, it you have large trees to plant. In this case, you may be better off to mix your own soil for your trees.

Great soil!
Will not use any other soil for my succulents and cacti. Fast draining and the orchid bark looks nice when it is in the pot. All of my cacti and succulents are potted with this soil and everyone is thriving and happy! The only downfall is the bags are smaller than I like and only fill up about 3-4 smallish pots. But that's okay. as long as my plant children are happy then I am happy. :)

Good quality soil, drains well
Drains well, has kept mold at bay as well as the smell of mildew. Unfortunately, I have yet to see any growth even with rooting hormone. I hope to see some growth soon as this is a good quality soil that would be a shame to let go to waste.

Highly recommended by others as a soil enhancement
Recommended by several gardeners as mix in to soil or moss pole. It is very fine, so will want to add it to something else rather than using it as the primary substrate

Premium Bonsai Soil All Purpose Fast Draining Mix - Pumice, Lava, Calcined Clay and Pine Bark
I transplanted a small beginner bonsai plant into a bonsai planter I bought here on Amazon and used this "soil". I left the special soil it was already in w/ the plant though because I'm not sure if this bag of "soil" is all you need to grow a bonsai plant. (I'm new to these plants.) As it states, it contains a lot of ingredients, but none of them are actually "soil", so after having my plant for nearly a year, I was hesitant to use just mixture to transplant my little tree in. There are really no instructions that come with the bag. Yes, I should have "googled" it beforehand... Well, time will tell. The bag is only enough for one plant and actually I could probably have used another half a bag.
