Behringer Brains Multi-Engine Oscillator Euro Rack Module

Great module. The sounds are truly authentic analog sounds.

Quality made Behringer products has been delivering modules to us for years. This module has exceeded our expectations.. take the time to experiment with it. This module has complexities that require interaction with others to create new applications for unique and multiplexing effects. Patients and experimental configurations have revealed amazing results.

The selling feature for me on this was all of the different engines that it includes. I only rate this as 4 stars because it is a little complicated to navigate since every engine assigns different features to the front knobs, and some knob function combinations are somewhat cryptic. I would also keep in mind that this is only monophonic. Regardless though you are getting a huge palette of sounds for a ridiculously low price.

I was thinking of buying a DIY kit and building a Plaits clone, but for only $80 this is much more attractive. Has a ton of features.

The first shipment had a faulty device (from manufacturer). Tried to get support from Behringer, but GearNuts asked me to send it to them and they would replace it rather than wait for tech support. Quick and easy, got the replacement and it works great. This is a very cool module.
