Cozy and safe
This book is as good as the first one. It's a comfy read, even it doesn't have enough romance i love the story.

A Sequel Better Than the First Book
As enticing as the idea behind it was, the first book often seemed vague and lost its footing after Takako confronts her ex. It seemed to throw in Momoko after that just to create some interest, keeping her mysterious for the most part. The sequel makes her purpose clear and it also has a much surer voice. Itโs still a bit chary when it comes to romance, canโt really feel the love between Takako and her new boyfriend most of the time. Their relationship goes so smoothly as to be bland. And we donโt quite know where the other romance in the book goes. Hoping for a sequel that brings out more in these relationships. But this was a deep, sayisfying read.

A gem!
This sequel to Days at the Morisaki Bookshop was beautifully written - at times heart wrenching and thought provoking. It is an interesting examination of personal relationships โฆ left me wanting more!

not as good as Book 1
I had high hopes for this book as I enjoyed Book 1 immensely. This was too sad and gloomy for my taste.

More about the Morisaki Bookstore in Japan
A little slow to get started because of the recap from the first book. The story line is a little confusing and then youโre off. Sad but coming together in a positive way.
