Review: i swear this soap is shrinking my warts!! - facial use, effects, the jar: i've been using this as a face wash for about 10 days, 1-2 times per day. my skin has had slower progress than the warts but i have still noticed it feeling softer and looking smoother and glowy, and it's helped very much with my spots. i will note however that it doesn't remove makeup very well so i recommend using micellar water or something similar before using the soap. it's not too drying but i still use moisturizer. i cut up a little slab of it into cubes and put them in a jar since a little goes a long way (like a quarter of one of those cubes is enough). i like to take a little sauce type bowl and let a chunk of a cube sit in a small amount of water to dissolve and soften a bit, then lather with both the water and the chunk. it lathers very very well and just smells like natural unscented soap. almost comparable to the smell of soil but it's not an offensive scent at all. warts: now to the nitty gritty. i've struggled with warts on my hands for about 6-7 years. i've tried different treatments from the store and more natural treatments like apple cider vinegar, neither of which with lasting results so i resorted to trimming them when they grew. i literally had over 10 on my left hand, ranging in different sizes, before this soap. i was insecure about them and left them out of photos (hence the lack of "before" photos) and had grown used to them being there. now they're practically nonexistent. the only three that i can still see are the ones pictured, and by now they're smooth to the touch and so faint that they look like scars. it really feels like some kind of miracle since nothing else has worked. TLDR: natural but non-offensive scent. soft glowy skin, slow progress. doesn't remove makeup. doesn't dry out skin. fades/heals acne. amazing lather, little goes a long way. 6 year old warts on hands have shrunken and some disappeared. 10000% worth it, the size of the bar will last a very long time. Review: Bang for the worthy buck - Very good soap especially for women of color just be careful not to use too much it will irritate sensitive skin but it does the job. I have less excess oil my skin is softer and evenly toned. Great value and it lasted for 4 months

Good. Not harsh, and better on my skin than most other soaps.
It's pretty good quality for the price. Not too harsh on the skin. I was using Dove bars to bath with, and it was causing me really bad rash. I wanted a natural soap without added chemicals, and this did the trick. Still a bit drying on the skin, but then most soaps will do that, and this is easier on the skin than the vast majority of soaps I was using. I also like the idea that I was helping out African villagers by buying a product they made.

Nice soap, no scent, but a lot different than what I've come to know as African Black Soap.
This soap surprised me a little, as it is not exactly solid, rather it's more like chunks pressed together. I bought the one pound offer and cut it into 4 bars (cling film is good for storing) which is economical enough and each bar lasts for maybe 10-14 daily showers. I did get a chunk of something in one bar that is not soap, perhaps is possibly a pea sized piece of wood or tree bark. I'd say, if you're looking for different, here it is. If you really don't like it, it might double as saddle soap...?

Life is better with this soap
Got these for my hubs. I prefer the liquid version and I get a gallon of the stuff. I have eczema and this is the only soap I can use on my skin as part of my regular routine that keeps me eczema free. It leaves no residue. Sometimes my hubs gets breakouts or chaffed and chapped skin from the work that he does and this always heals and clears it up. He prefers bars. These were pretty good. I like that these were just the raw stuff without other oils or fragrance that just ruin it. This is a pure version. I chop what came into smaller bars and wrapped individually and it was just perfect. You definitely need a dish with these because they get really messy. These dont last nearly as long as the liquid version does but that’s OK. I’ll get this again for hubs. He often doesn’t think to get them for himself because he ADHD forgets about it but I notice he’s always grateful to have it around and uses it up pretty quickly when it’s available. I know it’s just as good for his skin as it is mine. It’s nice to have a bath product that gets you super clean and alkalizes your skin and at the same time heals it. My life is so much better because I know about black African soap.
