A little smaller than expected but will work in a different area in the kitchen. The green was alot lighter than expected, just was hoping for a little deeper darker green. The lighter shade just gives it a cheaper look IMO. Other than that it’s easy to clean and protects the countertop when tamping <3

I chose this tamping mat for the color, which I love! It has the perfect thickness for when knocking the portafilter on it. It's fit snug against the kitchen counter but also our coffee bar; so there's no limit to where you place your coffee setup.

I ordered Normcore Corner Tamping Mat to use with my cappuccino maker. I love the dark green color and it’s a decent size. However, I don’t like the little grooves all over the mat that look like wood grain. I’m not sure what the purpose of those are. They make the mat harder to clean, which is annoying. Instead of giving it a quick wipe and it’s clean, the coffee grinds stick in the grooves of the mat. It’s easier to rinse off the whole thing in water or fully submerge it, rather than trying to wipe it down. It should have been made with a smooth surface. That would have made more sense for ease of use. I would not buy this mat again. I don’t recommend it.

I needed this for my daily drip coffee ritual. I use a 5-cup drip coffee pot with a filter, to give you an idea of the size. The material is very thick and stays in place, which I really appreciate. It’s the perfect size for my needs. Although I haven’t ventured into espresso-making yet, I’ve recently started exploring the coffee world and plan to try home-brewing espresso in the future. This item is simple, clean, and works great for holding my empty coffee pot after I’ve poured my coffee into a cup, before washing it. Let me know if you’d like any further tweaks!
