This slam ball has a great balance of weight, excellent grip and texture and provides strength and cardio training without a ton of extra equipment. It arrived in great condition and has been durable, keeping it shapes after several rounds of workouts and literal slamming.

This ball works great for different workouts. Grip on the ball is great too. Highly recommend!

was far bigger than i expected still works for the purpose i had in mind for it. I do expect i will be dropping this alot due to the size but i suppose that's the point.

I received as a gift a 35# slam ball from a well-known CrossFit brand. For slamming, cleaning, and lifting overhead (w/o a slam), it is now below what I can boost, so I was looking for something heavier. 50# seemed a good choice and I opted from the treaded "ultra-grip" model. The price was roughly half of the well-known brand. You can see why I gravitated towards this brand. The treaded ball works great for cleans and over-the-shoulder tosses. But, for me at least, I discovered the tread makes it hard to lift the ball overhead or to slam it. Apparently, those moves involve a bit of rotation or movement of the ball when it's in your hands, and the tread makes that a bit difficult. Perhaps I'll find some adjustment that compensates. But, anyway, I thought I'd throw that experience out for future buyers who do the moves that I do: for that, I recommend the non-treaded "anti-slip" model. If I have any issues, I'll update this post. But, so far, the ball seems like excellent value. I did roughly 100 cleans with it last night, right after it arrived, and it behaved as well as the well-known brand does at my CF gym. I also tried a few slams, whence my observations above.
