I bought this prism expressly for the purpose of trying to make dull shots shine when there's not an option to do much production design. This prism saved the day and paid for itself after one shoot! We bounced some light onto it, and created an awesome lens flare that made the dingy shot look like a Michael Bay film! :) Great for video -- just hold in front of the lens, and you'll be surprised at the interesting shots you can get.

This is a fun light splitting thing. Decent size. The box it comes in a very sturdy and great for keeping it from getting scratched

I found myself In a position of presenting a demonstration of color theory to a group of children. I used this prism to show how color is produced when light is altered. Always helps to have the right tools at hand.
