4243: Not just for men
I love these pants! I would not have looked at them, being advertised for men, except when my employer was overhauling our scrubs, we had a rep come to our place with various styles to try on. When I told the rep what I wanted he said to look at these. I am a female, 5‘7“, and wear a size large in women’s scrubs. I wear a medium size in these pants. I wanted pants that were not too clingy, that had cargo pockets that would fit an iPad mini, and if the pants did have double pockets, I wanted the smaller pocket on the outside, so I can slide my hand into the pocket next to the leg without getting it stuck in the small pocket. I needed an elasticized waist for quick bathroom trips, firm enough that when my pockets are full and heavy, my pants don’t slide down my hips. Also for the same reason, I did not want a “modern” fit. Since I wear my top on the outside of the pants, I was choosing function over “fashion.” The elastic waist is firm but not tight. It is about 1 inch in width, does not roll. There is also a drawstring to make the waist tighter on those days when your pockets are really heavy! But I rarely need to use it. The drawstring ends are short and don’t flap around if you leave them untied, and they stay in place. There are also pockets along the side seams . The material is soft and comfortable yet sturdy. 55 cotton/42 poly/3 spandex. The zippered front is barely noticeable. Easy to wash. I usually remove them from the dryer when halfway dry to avoid wrinkles. They don’t wrinkle that easily, but with the nature of the cotton, it looks a little more polished when I drape the pants over a hanger. I pair them up with tops 4710 and 4727 of the workwear core stretch.

Comfortable
I am no doctor, nor do I have any connection to the medical profession. But I wanted to try some scrubs because I have never liked wearing denim. These fit nicely, although they are long (especially without shoes). I can have them shortened if needed, so that is not a big issue. These are said to be "stretch" scrubs, and that they are--just don't expect the to stretch that much. They are not totally constraining like other pants of this type, and it makes a difference. I wish the logo weren't in bold white (I bought all dark colors) but aside from that, they are great for wearing to dinner, or using at trade shows when I'm in hot rooms all day and on my feet. The pockets are handy but please, never put a wallet, phone or anything else in the side pockets on the legs--they will fall out. They've been washed and the colors have held, so this is also promising. Let's hope these wear well.

Great comfy pants. A slight alteration makes them better.
Really like these. I am 6’ tall and quite lean—a medium fits me fine. Plenty long. Loose and comfortable. I tried one pair, then ordered two more. They don’t shrink noticeably and washing makes them softer. One small fix made them better for me. For some reason, they come with the drawstrings pulling from the opposite hole than what drawstrings usually do. This makes them harder to tighten. I used a little sewing tool to reach into each hole and pull the drawstring through the little gap and out the correct hole. Now they tighten easily, as they should.

Great Pockets, Quality, and Comfort
I've owned multiple pairs of these scrubs in two different colors, and they're easily my favorite scrub bottoms. Great pockets, comfortable fit and feel, correct sizing, high quality - You can't go wrong. After over a year of regular wear and washes, there's barely any fade compared to new ones and they show no significant breakdown. I'm especially a fan of the small loop inside the cargo pocket where my trauma shears sit - It keeps them slightly elevated out of the pocket for easy access and prevents movement in the pocket. My only complaint - I owned another pair of Cherokee bottoms that had a button and zipper closure and found those more comfortable and convenient compared to a drawstring (but lacked the good pockets.) However, I realize drawstrings are very common in scrubs, and honestly it doesn't made a big enough difference to matter.

Nice scrub bottoms
I normally wear a 2x in cherokee scrub bottoms, but these were a little tight compared to their normal Workwear line.I am returning these and ordering a size larger. The seem to be what I am looking for, but will write a better review once I get a pair that fits.edit:I got the 3x pair a while back and these things are great. They are a touch bigger than I want, but the 2x were just a touch too tight. These are the same design as the regular Workwear line that I like (zipper fly, same number and type of pockets), but stretch and feel much more comfortable. I no longer have to worry about my crotch blowing out when I squat down. They are very long (I wear the short length in regular Workwear (28" inseam), I had to hem these up).I have found my new favorite scrub bottoms, and will be ordering more of these soon.2nd Edit (10/15): I have ordered 2 more pair of these since my first pair. Still as comfortable as when I first got them, and the color has not faded at all (Royal Blue) compared to the new pair. One issue with them though, one of the pair of new ones has some shorter ties. Twice one end went into the waistband while in the wash. I ended up just tying the ends together, but still, annoying since I had them for a while and could not return them, so make sure to check them before you hem them and such.

Cherokee Men Scrubs Pant Core Stretch Cargo 4243: Pretty solid, just a lil' expensive! 4.5 stars
These are about as close to the old Dickies GenFlex scrub pants that you can find these days. Those were hands down the best scrubs I've ever owned! And these are the next best.Size seems a little big but not enough to be a issue. May have to get it rehemmed but that is typical. Pockets, stitching, and fabric all look real good!Just wish it was somewhat cheaper but I say that about everything these days.
