Functional but with notable drawbacks.
I ordered these hearing devices because they are completely-in-canal, offering a discreet option. Small hearing aids tend to be pricey, and I wasn’t ready to invest heavily without knowing if this style would suit me. At under $150, I'm not considering them as a permanent solution to my hearing problems but more of a steppingstone to finding the right fit.The hearing aids are compact and fit well in my right ear. My left ear canal, however, is narrow, making it more difficult to insert anything comfortably, but they do stay in place once inserted correctly.Charging is straight-forward with the first change taking around a half an hour. Once charged, however, they must be manually turned on and off using a tiny switch. Unlike some modern electronics that power on and off automatically, these require manual intervention. On my second charge, I forgot to turn the devices off before inserting them into the charger. Once I did, I noticed one hearing aid didn’t begin charging right away; I had to jiggle it slightly before it started, possibly due to the pull wire bending with use.Insertion was fairly intuitive—the devices curve slightly and placing them with that curve upward worked best for me. Volume control was also tricky. The instructions claimed you could adjust it with your finger, but in reality, the small plastic screwdriver (included) was needed. Once I found my ideal sound level, I noticed that while sounds were louder, they were muffled, almost like speaking through a paper towel tube.Unfortunately, these hearing aids do not work with smartphone apps, so adjustments are entirely manual. I had hoped to fine-tune the sound quality digitally, but that wasn’t an option. Additionally, while marketed as noise canceling, I still experienced moments when loud noises seemed amplified, making me question how effective that feature really is.Despite the muffled quality, I do think these will help when watching TV in the evenings. However, the lack of app support and outdated tech—particularly the manual on/off switch, are notable drawbacks. While functional, the technology behind them just isn't quite there yet.

Silicone ear dome is the key
I was skeptical about these beige Rechargeable OTC Digital Hearing Aids with Noise Cancelling when I first ordered them because of the simple controls. I have seen hearing aids that cost thousands of dollars that have intricate controls and need professional adjustments but I wasn’t ready for that investment yet. I have mild hearing loss and need a little help for watching tv without blasting the volume and making my wife uncomfortable so I decided to give these a try. I’ve included a picture of all the components that came in the box.The hearing aids were delivered in 2 days. I charged them for a few hours, read the instructions and away I went on my journey. I turned the units on without a problem using my finger nail but you can certainly use the screwdriver device included in the set. Inserted into my ears and needed to adjust the volume. You definitely need to use the screwdriver to make the adjustment. It’ll be a trial and error adjustment to set them just right. While inserting I heard whistling and feedback which was annoying but I later found out it’s caused by sound leaking and feeding back into the system. If this happens simply find the correct silicone dome to make the fit snug enough to prevent sound leakage. Once I changed out the dome, the hearing aids worked great. The sound quality is a bit tinny but it is a great improvement to my hearing. Immediately I noticed the improvement and was able to lower the tv volume considerably. I even heard birds chirping outside. I would definitely recommend these hearing amplifiers if you have mild hearing loss before you take the plunge and spend thousands of dollars.

One size does not fit all, but works ok.
The ear bud are not made for small ears lol. They are very easy to use and the battery is good. The hearing aids themselves are of good quality. However I cannot speak on the sound as we were not able to fit the bud in the ear properly. 2 people tried then and they could not fit. I’d strongly suggest for older aged persons as their ears are much bigger and made exactly for these.

Crystal clear sound
So I got this for grandma because she's getting at that age where hearing is becoming more difficult for her. Opened up the package and followed the instructions. Set up was very easy and the quality of the hearing aids feels pretty superior to me. My grandma was very impressed! She was able to hear me crystal clear and the birds chirping outside. This is such an awesome pair of hearing aids! I highly recommend these to anyone with problems of hearing from distances

BASIC ...Design is solid - fit is good, But.......
BASIC ...Design is solid - fit is good, But the volume adjuster is a pain in the tail to use even having someone else do it for you....Doing it yourself without removing ear bud adjusting and putting it back in to test is a pain and NO WAY ON EARTH will you get the tool into the volume control yourself with it in your ear....I have big fumble finger hands so typically removal from ear is quite hard and results in considerable feedback when trying so I found a nice pair of silicone tipped forceps (*tweezers*) to grab them with.NOW -- Audio Quality -- For this price point and because they don't do any sound shaping/clipping/trimming I won't hammer them to hard but its like listening to a cheap foil speaker in an Cheap Transistor Radio from the 70's.....Can't recommend them but If your in a pinch and need hearing help and can't do proper hearing aids - these will do...Mag charging base must be plugged into USB-C port to work but does nice job charging and recharging ear pieces. One Thumb Up only cause they will get you buy in a pinch......
