No. When connected via USB-C with DP Alt mode support, MB16AHV draws power directly from your laptop. No external adapter is needed for USB-C connections.

Can I mount MB16AHV on a tripod or table mount?

Yes. A standard ¼"-threaded hole at the rear lets you attach it to a tripod or table mount. The fold-out kickstand also props the monitor up on any flat surface for quick setup.

Does it automatically switch between portrait and landscape?

Yes. With ASUS DisplayWidget Center software installed on your laptop, MB16AHV detects its orientation and switches the display mode automatically when you rotate the screen.

What is the embedded antibacterial treatment?
