I use this to run my laser cutter/engraver exhaust through (final exhaust goes outside). Seems to really take care of 80% of the odor while working with acrylic and fiberboard. It is well made and easy to mount. I have not needed to change out the filter yet, but replacements seem to be readily available.

Works great!!! Only took 10-15 minutes to install. Bought it to help with eliminating the smell from our neighbor smoking food almost daily. Our fresh air intake faces their patio and their only outside outlet. The winds normally blow their smoker smoke right towards our house. This has helped so much! We use high quality air filters within our main HVAC system but still we’re having issues with outside smells and allergens. Adding this will help with all of that.

This three-level AC filter has made the air in my home feel much cleaner. It traps dust, allergens, and even pet hair really well. The difference in air quality is noticeable. It was easy to install and fits perfectly. Overall, a solid upgrade for healthier air.

This is a very well-built filter box with multiple stages of filtration that's easy to install and easy to install in a way that makes replacing filters not too difficult. Yes, you could build a box of this type, and I have (from room-size filters built in less than an hour from whatever scrap I have on hand to evaporator filters/medium frames built from sheet metal that took several hours to build and then a few more days of adjustment in design), but the fact you get a ready to go solid filter box is worth the price to me, as my time has become exceptionally limited. Form factor is as small as you can get, size-wise, while still accommodating your filters. Connections hook up just fine. I actually used mine with an inline duct fan to direct "cleaned" fresh air into a musty spot in the house (after fixing the source of the mustiness). Produced no strain on the inline fan with the degree of filtration, which would have been my #1 concern. Functions quite well without hindering airflow. Appearance of this filter box is a thousand times more attractive than every single one I crafted myself, so throw another $75 dollars of value into the price for quality appearance. Does an excellent job of cleaning the air with pre-filters, carbon to remove odors, and the HEPA to remove small particles, all while still allowing good airflow. This was exactly what I needed exactly when I needed it, at a time when I didn't have a half-day to build one myself and make three trips to five home improvement stores for the proper sized connectors. It arrived, was opened, and immediately put to use, which is worth a LOT in this household. Depending on where you're going to place this, check dimensions and a place to secure it (you don't want rattles, and you don't want seismic activity knocking it off a rafter if you place it in the attic). Box is attractive enough to be part of your garage setup without having to build any kind of case for it. In fact, would make an excellent fresh air intake for your garage, especially if you do a lot of dusty or chemical-y work in that space. Plenty of uses, and high quality here. Built very well - I was impressed. Five stars.
