Works great if you know what you are doing
First off, the results, as pictured, look really good for polished stone tile. I should note that I've been a professional traditional media artist for 20+ years, so working with stone patching color mixing and faux texturing wasn't too hard. If you read the a accompaying instructions you should be good. With that said, some notes; the black is super black, dilute it with water and use sparingly!! As well as most other colors. If you are a novice you should study basic color mixing first, particularly RGB method. The kit comes with many common stone colors if you dont feel like mixing the basics BUT if you want an exact match you will be doing a lot of trial an error and you will have to use the included red, green, and blues. The patching base compound in the tube is kinda minimal, only enough for about a square inch. As the instructions say, patch dark, then let dry, then texture with a lighter mix using a frialed cotton swab. You will need more cotton swabs than the kit has!! The compound looks lighter when wet but dries darker!! Do go light on the first pass The final lacquer coat leaves much to be desired. It comes with no polishing tools and if you have a perfectly flat stone floor tile to patch them you need to sand it afterwards. Overall it's a good kit but I think it needs more patching compound.

Good product
The CalFlor FL49133 TileFix, Mix2Match Tile & Stone Repair Kit has become an essential tool in my home maintenance arsenal, offering a convenient and effective solution for repairing damaged tiles and stone surfaces. This versatile kit provides everything needed to seamlessly restore the appearance of tiles and stone, making it an invaluable asset for DIY enthusiasts and homeowners alike. One of the standout features of the TileFix kit is its ease of use. With clear instructions and intuitive design, even those with minimal experience can achieve professional-looking results. The kit includes a variety of color compounds that can be mixed to match the exact shade of the damaged surface, ensuring a seamless repair that blends seamlessly with the surrounding area. The versatility of the TileFix kit is another key advantage. Whether repairing chips, cracks, or small holes in tiles or stone surfaces, this kit provides a comprehensive solution for a wide range of repair needs. The included putty knife and mixing spatula make it easy to apply the repair compound with precision, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish. Durability is also worth noting, as the repair compound dries to a strong and resilient finish that can withstand the rigors of daily use. Once applied, the repaired area blends seamlessly with the rest of the surface, providing long-lasting results that stand the test of time. While the TileFix kit offers impressive results, I deducted half a star due to the limited quantity of repair compound provided. Depending on the size and scope of the repair project, additional compound may be required, which could necessitate purchasing multiple kits for larger jobs. In conclusion, the CalFlor FL49133 TileFix, Mix2Match Tile & Stone Repair Kit is a valuable asset for anyone looking to maintain the appearance and integrity of their tile and stone surfaces. With its ease of use, versatility, and durable results, this kit offers a convenient and cost-effective solution for DIY repairs. Keep a TileFix kit on hand for quick and seamless repairs whenever needed. Highly recommended!

Getting the color right took a couple of tries. Not easy but saved the floor
Followed the instructions and the color was off - 28 is not a big number for colors. Had to experiment a bit with yellow, tan and white (yes white makes a difference not just the amount of color). Apply then dry (use a hair dryer) because color changes as it dries adjust and try again. Final results were really good. A full vanity mirror fell leaving the floor with a number of pits the largest the size of a dime. When done can't see the repairs for 2 feet. The only way to see is to look at them at an angle (head next to the ground a few feet from the repairs) and the difference in reflection makes them look like smears. Cons The miking board is cardboard one use - next time get a bit of plastic

Being artistic is helpful!
It’s a nice idea, but it would help to have artistic skills with a good eye for color. I’ve been trying to match floor tile for over a week. I’m not a young person and don’t have to best eye for colors. I keep mixing color darker than I want it to be. You also have to make sure paint is shaken/mixed well, and control the drops required accordingly to mix chart. I recommend finding an artistic person to help with this project.

Easy fix to tile damage
I've actually purchased this product twice to make tile repairs. The color mixing instructions are easy and accurate. In my experience this product works better on larger cracks or holes and not as well on hairline cracks. It saved my tile in my living room after I dropped a heavy table and took a thumb-sized chunk out of it. I was able to patch the hole and it's still holding after a year. Very happy! You can see the repair in the closer photo but it's harder to see from a distance. You'd really have to look to notice it as you are walking through the room

We can barely see the tile cracks now!
I am so happy with the final results of this. We had about six feet of hairline cracks running over our kitchen floor tile. This was easy to use because it’s water based, so if you screw up you can wipe it away and start over. Trial and error with mixing colors, but kinda fun. Felt like a crafting project. We can barely tell where the cracks were. Highly recommended for cracks in tile.

Waste of time
I tried to match a charcoal gray tile color, which you would think it would be easy to match with this kit. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to do with what you get. I think this works well on white, tan, and any other color that you do not have to mix to get the color. Obviously, you have to mix to get gray and it’s impossible to get the same exact color as it always dries much darker. And even if you somehow get the same color, you will definitely still see the area that was damaged, especially when you turn on the lights. You are better off getting a gray set of markers that work on hard surfaces and do it like that. Otherwise, Don’t waste your time, just replace the tile which is what I am going to do.

Solid product, easy to clean up & work with, directions could be better about color blending
Used this to fix some chips in the tile, clean up is VERY easy as long as you don't lacquer your work you can rewet it and wipe it off and try again. The color matching is a little difficult, but its more their poor instructions. When you mix the colors they WILL be darker than the recipe shows.. but once you mix it with the white filler it will lighten up. Its just a little hard to judge what color it will be when it dries since as it dries it becomes darker. I had to mess around a bit with color combinations to find the right mix of lights and darks but it was easy to use, clean up and the final product came out great.. I would definitely use it again. If you zoom in real close you can see the patch but only if you know where to look.
