An upgrade to what is already great! (SEE VIDEO POST)
Itโs been almost 5 years since I bought my last RO system from APEC and it has performed admirably during its 5-year run. I was really satisfied with the taste of the water and the way the system is built, but the effort of replacing the filter still leaves a lot of rooms for improvement. I started researching on another RO system and one of Aquasureโs ad popped up on my Facebook feed. A twist styled RO system that suppose to provide great water filtration with easy install and maintenance. Their website also goes into great details on why the system is an upgrade to the standard reverse osmosis systems that are on the market today. The whole package was very well thought out and everything seems to have its purpose in this well-constructed system. I decided to pull the trigger once again and bid farewell with my old faithful system. The system arrived nicely packaged and organized with 3 inner boxes that separate the system, the tank, and the accessories. unlike the standard RO, these filters are built into the housing and are already pre-installed along with their leak-proof safety mechanism. All I really need to worry about is to connect the supply tubings to the existing connection. The whole process took me no more than 10 minutes since the connections are all 1/4" which is the same as my previous RO, the only thing that I decided to change is the tank and the feed water adapter as I feel that the new feed water adapter that comes with the Aquasure System is much better. One other thing I notice is the fittings have built-in o-rings so I don't need to fiddle with Teflon tapes and trying to guess how much of it I need to apply. The system still supplied a row of Teflon tape which was odd to me, but I guess some people will find a use of it depending on their setups. Although my install was very easy due to existing connections already made on the previous RO, I still can see how the new system's design is more superior than the old one even for those that did not have an old setup. After flushing the first tank of water which takes about an hour to fill up. I conducted a simple TDS test that results in about 94% of TDS rejection, which is comparable to the previous system. The water tastes just the same as well with a tiny bit of sweetness to the water. Overall, I really like how the Aquasure System is packaged and how easy it is to change the filters. I really like my old RO system as well, but don't really missed the effort it takes replacing the filters and making sure that everything is tightened properly. The new RO system will be a welcome relief when its time for replacing its filters in the future. For those of you that are looking to buy and install your own RO system, this one is definitely worth to consider.

Great tasting water, quality and value in one
I've spent 3x as much on other sink RO systems in the past and this has been the easiest to setup with the best filtration. The water PPM went from 300+ to <4. It's extremely functional and so far haven't had any issues with it. No leaks - just remember to press those tubes if further than you think you need to.

Really Good RO Option
I bought the Aquasure RO after buying a different RO over at Costco, which I quickly returned for leaks and being really noisy when the tank was refilling. No such problem with the Aquasure, it was easy to install, and is not noisy at all. I really like the compact filter set up, that has it's own base...I didn't even have to hang the thing on the side of the interior cabinet. This appears to be a quality system for sure,...I'm taking 1 star off for a tiny leak that was on the front side of the "Shok-Block" connector, which I think is there to protect the system if you have high water pressure problems...I tried reseating the quick connect hose that ran into the Shok-Block, but the tiny leak persisted...so I opted to remove the Shok-Blok (which is easy to do) and ran the inlet hose directly in the filter housing...problem solved. This is a small complaint, I'm really happy with the purchase.

Quality system with easy installation steps
Produces nice clean water that tastes good. Installation was easy, and there was no surprise. Also, their tech support team was amazing at handling an issue that I experienced with one of the parts.

Well designed . Before TDS=185. After = 12
Overall happy. I like that it only puts 1.5 gallons of water down the drain for each gallon of RO water. Best I could find. The unit I purchased had most of connections already made versus the on line video. However as my sink cabinet is extra large I had to purchase extra pex line. The faucet body was well built but the top was plastic. It has a quick change feature to change the top part when it breaks. In any event I purchased a non OEM fully SS faucet and worked fine as did not want to deal with the top part of faucet. Also this did not come with a quick change water line connector for the faucet or a splitter for my ice maker. It does come with everything to make it work however. Really a easy install especially since all connections are made for you on unit. It did arrive in a crushed box so shipping could have been better.

These are actually disposable units. Beware
Had this for a year and was receiving a reasonable 90-92% rejection rate. My water is pre-filtered and softened municipal water. After a year, I opted to change all the filters per the instructions. Once done and purged, I received rejection numbers in the high 70's. I passed over 40 gallons and the numbers improved to the low 80's, still unacceptable for ro water and hardly met their claim of 95-99%. I changed the filters again and used silicone on all the o-rings in hope it would help. It did not and numbers once again returned to the high 70s with a slow degradation in just a few days. Add to that, the water has been aerated with this change insinuating a compromised seal in the ststem. Here's the thing, the manifold on this system is sealed. There is no way to troubleshoot nor service it. Obviously, it has a torn seal within the sealed unit and no amount of filter changes will keep tap water from seeping into the ro water. So the system is essentially rendered useless. Particularly if you use it for aquariums or humidifiers. 77 ppm is intolerable for both those things and its obviously an issue as my static tap water is 298-340. Very frustrating as the system works fine from the factory, but once seals are broken and maintenencw is intiated, problems begin. I am now switching to another type that allows access to the things that if I were able to access in this instance, I wouldn't be in the position I find myself now.

In Canada. Got charged customs fees when shipped from US via Fedex.
Fedex also shipped to the wrong address, though somehow the shipping address got changed between Amazon and the Seller it seems. The product itself seems of good quality and works well. Water tastes great and the coffee maker is very happy with the pure water. Not looking forward to most likely getting shafted with custom fees for replacement filters. The quality of the faucet seems quite good. No issues at all with this product, just the extrta fees from customs and the foulup with the address.
