🌐 Extend Your Reach, Elevate Your Network!
The PoE Texas PoE++ Extender is an outdoor PoE repeater designed to enhance your network's range and performance. With a robust IP67 waterproof rating, it can endure harsh weather conditions and is safe for direct burial. This extender doubles your PoE or Ethernet data reach to 200m (660ft) at a Gigabit data rate, ensuring no loss in speed. It supports universal PoE compatibility with IEEE 802.3 standards and comes with all necessary installation components, backed by a one-year warranty and expert support.

Works well
We used this device for a data drop that was nearly 500ft away, we put the injector around 320ft and have had no problem with the remote AP. AP shows full power and appears to be transparent from what we can tell. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far we're happy with it.

Doesn't actually push out POE++, just POE+
It claims to push POE++, however in my tests it was only able to do POE+...which isn't going to work for me.

Solid design, Larger than expected
This thing is built to last. It's a solid design and it has some weight to it. It has mounting holes to make securing it to a wall (fence, pole, etc) easier. It's extremely easy to use, and it does the job well.I decided I was going to expand my network, adding an Access Point out in my storage building (~ 175 ft away from my office) so that I could work with the equipment in the building. I do controls work, so setting up a lab with the equipment configured, then accessing and working with it remotely, is important. The POE Extender allowed me to first put an AP out there, but a few weeks later I changed it to where I'm using a POE to 12 VDC converter to power a little Industrial PC (with connectivity still going out to the room). This allows me to remote to the Industrial PC to work with the controls themselves instead of having to put a laptop out there and worry about the battery. All of my controls equipment power over USB, so my current setup has my POE Switch -> ~ 85 ft to a Gigabit POE Extender -> ~ 75 ft to the building -> ~ 10 ft to where I've got my Industrial PC mounted.Pros:- Solid design- Easy to install- Easy to mountCons:- A little more costly than other POE extenders I've used; however, it's IP67 rated for outdoor use whereas others I've used on projects have not been.- A little bulky, but that's because of the design -- something to factor for installation area/space, but not something that would keep me from getting this again.I will be ordering additional units for projects coming up in the next few months. I'm highly impressed with how well this has worked out.

Great injector for fair price
This is one item that can be hard to find quality for under $100. Some other cheap ones were DOA, everyone of them. Not the Texas extenders. They worked great. Installed in outdoor commercial setup. 6 months and so far no issues

It can't make up for power drop over distance - seal seat too big for most burial ready cat5/6
I tried this at the end of a 160ft run of burial grade cat6 (note the junction is a shed so it is a protected, outdoor use). The connector seals included were too big to tighten on the cable to provide a watertight seal, but not needed for my application. I had a power injector already in place and tried to replace the power injector with this, but apparently there is too much loss in my cable and intermediate connectors to power this thing at that point. I tested it plugged directly into my PoE switch (in extended mode) and it worked fineLesson is: Can't get a signal boost if the line power drops out of range. Got to use a power injector.(I actually thought it did have power injection when I selected it - that was my bad)Note: I noticed this was re-factored for a newer PoE standard (multi-pair power) but should still work for the old standard, but not going to upgrade my PoE equipment to test if this would work under that standard. Will see if my geek buds can use it.

best POE Gigabit Extender i have used. good price, easy strong and solid all in all a very well made unit
awesome product PT-GPOE-Extender Gigabit Power over Ethernet Extender I have these dead in the middle of 150m of cat6 cable with a ubiquiti unifi AP pro access point at one end and a ubiquiti unifi 48 Port Poe switch the other end and it's been working flawlessly for quite a few months these poe extenders are the cheapest and easiest way to run POE devices like wifi access points or IP cams more than 100m away!

Water leakage
Heavy Texas rain entered the extender by following the IEEE cable. The rubber grommet did not stop water. Once a small amount of water entered the circuit inside smoked and I mean smoked, had to clean gray film off connectors.

Worked as described
Over the last month I have had to purchase 10 of these POE injectors. At first I was worried since I never have used this particular one before, however, they work as advertised. Made my work easy and made money installing them.
