Tough durable lots of great features
Great pack, very roomy rides well on the shoulders during hikingPROSHuge packLots of molle/pals webbing including on the bottomVery comfortable wearing for long hikes2 outside pocketsSide compression strapsVelcro keepers for excess strapsQuick access pocket on topHydration compatiblePadded backCONSNo internal frame or stays of any kindPadding on waist strap could be longer to help ride on hips betterI bought this pack over a year ago I've taken it hiking in 6 states, and use it everyday to carry changes of clothes and shoes to work. It is very comfortable and rides well hiking. So far it has been pretty tough, I've hiked in Zion, Bryce Canyon, Glacier, Yellowstone and a few other places with it and it has held up well. I do have some slight separation of stitching between the bag and pull string cover but this doesnt affect the pack functionality at all.As far as the CONS go some kind of stay would be nice to help support the pack, this leads to needing to pay extra attention as to how you pack this bag for hiking and where place some things in the pack loading. Also the waist strap leaves a little to be desired. The padding barely reaches the hips and if you have it packed pretty full or heavy you cant shift the pack weight from shoulders to waist like you can with some more professional hiking packs. But overall I would give this pack a solid 3.5 -4 stars, lots of great features, durable and overall very comfortable. I love the abundance of molle pals all over the pack giving plenty of options for attaching pouches and I love the compression straps in top/bottom and side/side to compress the pack load to keep contents from shifting around especially hiking through rugged terrain and climbing over large rocks and boulders. I would recommend this pack and would purchase again

China Sucks but Snugpak Rocks
UPDATEI really love this rucksack. The molle webbing gives me many ways to, I suppose "customise" this bag and to carry more of my gear. I have about, 40lb give or take, in this bag and it holds up well. As for comfort, one just has to pack it right for comfort. It's a great rucksack and aside from the lid tear, I still and truly do recommend this pack to bikepackers, hikers, and so on.I'm a bit disappointed in Snugpak. At least, as for their backpacks. The lid with the drawstring has a tear, and all I've done was packed the bag... This alone makes me question the durability of this pack itself. I'm sure if this pack, along with the other products, were to be made in the U.K or U.S, more people would by from Snugpak and have the items for years. Things made in China is like having a toddler design a building for construction.Aside from that, I love the size and the webbing. I didnt think I could fit much in a 40L bag, but it holds my gear and for me, personally, it's a comfortable backpack.I do plan to field test this pack and see if it's durable to hold all my gear. Note: Snugpak Gear. And considering the tear, this will be an intresting test.

Snugpak Endurance 40 (40 litres/2441cu.in) Backpack, Coyote Tan
After reading some of the reviews on this site I had some reservations about ordering this product but the price was too attractive and so I ordered it anyway. Besides, Snugpak is a good reputable brand. I wasn’t disappointed. On recept of this product I conducted a thorough and close inspection. It is well finished and I can’t fault it. Specs are as follows: Made from 600D Nylon, total product weight 49oz.(1400g) Made in China. One small exterior zip pouch in the base of the pack. One exterior zip pouch on the flap. Two zip pouches on the interior of the top flap, one of them a mesh pouch. One large internal pocket running almost the full length of the back of the pack with hook and loop (Velcro) fasteners at the top interior where the flap is sawn to the body of the pack. One open topped side pocket either side of the the exterior and extending from the base halfway up the length of the pack. Some sites advertise a pack cover as being included in the package deal. This was not the case with this item and it was not advertised as such. All straps come with hook and loop (Velcro) keepers on the ends to secure excess loose straps. As a matter of course I intend to complete this item with an interior dry sack/bag and an appropriate pattern camouflaged rain cover plus a fluoro cover for use in emergencies. There is no reason I would be overly concerned about the 600D nylon as most of the US Alice packs are made of lightweight nylon and they seem to stand up OK to the rigors of field conditions. If I had any concern at all it would be the stitching points on the waist belt. Since much of the weight of a large Bergan style pack is distributed through the waist belt to the hips it is necessary that the belt be particularly sturdy and integrally sawn into the padding and all the way back to the body of the pack. In this case the belt is only secured to the belt padding by a simple exterior box stitch and I can’t help but wonder how it will stand up to load bearing. It would be fantastic if at some future date Snugpak brought these out in a multicam pattern. All that remains is to field test this product and it is always good heading into the outdoors with a new piece of kit.

A great product at the best price I could find
A great product at the best price I could find . The only problem as such is that the narrow straps on the lower shoulder straps could longer , but then again I am bigger than the average person .

Great versatility and quality. Most comfortable frameless pack i have ever owned.
This is a heavy duty and versatile pack. I have loaded rhos pack with over 60 pounds and didn't present any issues. For a framless pack it is comfortable, but your back will sweat. The mass amount of molle, make it super easy to modify and build this bag any way you like.
