Nice & cold & stopped the itching
Used this for shingles, it’s similar to calamine lotion but stickier , it helped stop the itching & kept me a bit sainer. Calamine lotion is probably a better choice but as a 1st port of call this did the job .

Provides great relief for chickenpox
This worked wonders for my daughter with her chickenpox. I did also give her calpol and piriton and oat baths but whenever she said she was itchy, I'd apply this and it would instantly give her relief. Most of the spots dried up within a few days but not all and it's hard to say whether it was this or a mixture of everything but it's definitely been worth getting. My 4 year old even said she wants to use it again if she ever gets chickenpox so that says it all!
