I have owned two of these covers. The first one lasted about ten years and only needed replacement due to my mistake. Last spring I stored it on the floor in the back of my garage and mice ruined it. I immediately ordered a new one and was shocked that it was still about the same price as a decade ago. It is easy to use, costs next to nothing to run I love it.

I was first impressed and recommened it to everyone but now it is filled with mold!!! I just flat bedded my vintage Porsche 120 miles to my shop in Ct from Vermont to have it detailed to remove mold INSIDE the car...all over the seats, carpets...I bought a brand new capsule because the last one got mold inside. I scrubbed it to get all the mold out and sold it for a song...$125! Bought a NEW one for $402 a year ago and now the mold is IN THE CAR! I spoke to the owner last year..bought a new fan/foam cover too. He couldn't understand it and neither can I?? I love the idea of keeping both my 911 and 944 Vintage Porsche's in the capsule during the winter and safe from vermin but this MOLD?? SO upset...Last year all he could do was offer free shipping on the fan and foam...really?

Wish I had this thing years ago... Not only does it help with the moisture, bump protection, and dust... I bought it to keep mise away from the car and it works awesome. Best mouse protection that I ever had with any of my cars (machine shed storage outside for my vehicles)

I keep my 1973 corvette convertible stored in the car capsule with the top down, it is always clean, free of bugs, leaves, trash, no mice or rats can build nests in car because they can't get in!!!!! A MUST HAVE for anyone that wants to keep their car stored clean and worry free from dirt, leaves, bugs, trash, rain drops, leaking roof, anything, its protected and fan keeps blowing all the time keeping moisture and humidity out of bubble keeping your car rust free and dry, Do NOT store your car without one of these, and you can lean your whole body weight on the capsule and it does not cave in, throw a hammer at it, (nothing sharp) and it just bounces off. 100% recommend this product. I have sold the car, but it was great to have while storing it.

It's a bummer to put the car away for the winter but it's great knowing that the car is as protected as it can be. Installation tips - - Having a second set of hands helps but probably not necessary. Also, good idea to do this on a warmer day. The capsule is plastic and cold makes it harder to move. In terms of the purchase decision - I didn't want a car cover sitting on the paint for months, and a car cover doesn't stop the occasional rodent from nibbling on the wires or getting into the interior and making a mess of the seats. Also keeps spiders from webbing everything, etc. For the extra few dollars, very worth it for the car to come out as it went in. Note regarding moisture - I read what the manufacturer says about moisture and the fan, and it seems they are correct. It was snowing the day I put the car away and snow got on the car while I was jockeying onto the car capsule. Between that and the heat off the engine, the car fogged the bubble initially, but the moisture dispelled relatively quickly. You can see the moisture in the attached picture. Both the moisture and many of the wrinkles were gone the following day. Car including the vinyl top looks completely dry.
