580 PCS M3 Black Nylon Standoff Kit with Spacers, Screws, and Nuts - Motherboard & PCB Mounting Standoffs and Screws, Threaded Pillar Spacers for Circuit Boards and Computer Building

Got these to replace the metal standoffs that came with my motherboard bench test mount. I was concerned the metal standoffs could potentially create an issue with conductivity, even though I have my test bench sitting on a nonconductive work mat. So to play it safe I bought this kit of 3mm nylon standoffs. Which is the same size as what I already had, so they’re interchangeable if necessary. So now I’m safely grounded to the power supply. The cool thing about these standoffs is they can be interconnected. The tallest standoff was not high enough so I used one of the other ones with a threaded post on one end, which allowed me to increase the height, then simply used one of the nylon bolts to lock it down. Very quick, very easy, very effective. Well worth the price tag, worked exactly how I had envisioned. This is a good selection of standoffs they are non-metallic so they're non-conductive there is a good set of sizes in here including some with an integrated thread some with the screw going in plenty of nuts washers all of that it's all laid out well there's enough room for everything some things are not just jam-packed in there so they're going to fall out the first time you grab something a good size box and as I always do I label them on the end and put them on my shelf and wise so I know where everything is definitely a item I will be keeping in my parts bins

This standoff and screw assortment has worked flawlessly in my setup so far. The variety of spacers, screws, and nuts made it easy to find useful hardware for PCB and enclosure work. I am giving four stars rather than five because I have not used every size in the kit over the long term. I plan to keep testing the assortment in future projects and will update this review if anything changes.

So many different uses for building Cheap Yellow’s, and and many other projects requiring electronics. Well made no snapping or breaking of the screws or anything under heavy hands or usage.

Valuable asset in doing modifications on a few guitar amp projects. Durable and self locking.

Nice kit good quality

This kit seems great if youre in the market for Nylon (plastic) standoffs. I purchased them thinking i needed them and returned them because i didnt. I wouldnt say they're bad, but personally id look for something sturdier than plastic.
