Love the XPEL gloss PPF. Relatively easy to apply to the car with good pliability. The PPF sticks incredibly well and lasts a long time. Gloss is clear and there’s no yellowish tint that shows up after a few months like you see with some other brands. The thickness is perfect and has protected my truck under some pretty harsh conditions. Overall good value and great product!

Install took some planning, but I managed to apply this to my forward surfaces. Once applied, it's invisible. My son-in-law runs a commercial graphics shop and recommended this product.

This protective film really does the job, easy to cut into custom shapes and easy to apply. I used it to make some stone guards and headlight protectors.

It’s a pain to apply the first time you do it, so not super easy. I hope it protects my car, I set it on the side of the doors prior to driving on some sketchy roads. It applies smoothly, but the measurements weren’t perfect because it ended up a bit short. My biggest complaint is that the outer edge is white, so it’s not invisible on the car. I haven’t tried to remove it. So I can’t speak to that or the way it looks under the layer.

Great product a tidy bit difficult to work with if you have never done it. Start with small flat pieces and then go to large much easier. A spray bottle with a few drops of baby shampoo and water and the squeegee was perfect that was included. It cuts very easily and it looks very good. It was just enough for my two headlights.

Great product and use patience when installing.

For the record, I’m not a novice with anything dealing with vehicles. I owned a detail shop, restored vehicles, and even do complete wiring. That being said, I decided to take a chance on this cheap paint protection. While the price point is on spec, pay attention to the film as you use it. I noticed a spot didn’t look right when applying to the last spoiler on my car. Mind you where I applied this is extremely difficult to do but well within my skill set. Once it was on, it looked fine. All other areas I used this on worked well except this one spot. It laid down fine but the first day we had 98 degree temps with high humidity, it lifted. I tried to make a claim but Xpel states it’s due to everything else other than their product. They also stated since this was not installed by one of their qualified installers, they won’t honor ANY warranty. I should have used something better quality but for a vehicle that rarely will be seen let alone driven, I didn’t want to buy a full roll and have the rest go bad. Anyways, here’s the car and their response to me. I also included a picture of the car 8 months ago so you can see “how thick” the paint is. For the record I did use a heat gun AFTER it had lifted as well as alcohol like I use with other similar products trying to save this. It still failed.

I tried using another popular brand of ppf film on amazon but failed to install it properly. It was my first time working with ppf. I then decided to try different ppf film from XPEL this time and I succeeded with the installation because this film is more forgiving and is more stretchy!
