Sturdy, easy to rotate and reposition. Comes with a nato rail section in case you don't already have one. The included rail section has two spring-loaded slide stops to help keep the handle clamp in position. Pretty nice.

This item has broke on me the first 10 minutes of using it for a shoot this week. It was the swivel part that broke (360degree part) and it was also very wobbly when I first attached it. Bad build and overall disappointed…

The perfectionist in you isn’t going to like the handle not sitting exactly square, with no easy way to adjust that slightly off axis detent. You won’t care though, it’s a Smallrig, and it’s made with precision. It’s got a good weight to it, and the rubberized grip is nice. Almost a gel, but not quite. Actually a gel grip would be really nice on one of these.

This handle is of great quality material. The combination of silicone or rubber and the machined look of this is superb. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it at first but it looks great and is also incredibly comfortable to hold.

A handle made of great quality that you can expect from Smallrig. It's perfectly sized for a small DSLR or Mirrorless camera setup. It's very well designed and looks great! The button works great, and the handle rotates with ease. With plenty of mounting options, it is a must-have handle for a nice camera rig! Love this handle! Good price and value!

This is my new favorite handle. I had just gotten a cage for my ZV-E10 ii since it had NATO rails on the side and top. With the handle switching between them is a breeze. Pros: All 3 of my cages the NATO clamp lever tightens by turning up a 1/4 turn. The makes it easy to clamp while not interfering with my lens or body. My old handle tightened by turning down 3/4 turn and required me to remove the lens, tighten the camp, and remount the lens. A button for handle angle and the positions have a solid click. A sliding nub lever for the front cold shoe that has a safety pin. This is to keep something that wasn't securely screwed down from falling out of the cold shoe. I use this for my wireless mic receiver to help with line-of-sight. The ARRI locating hole and mount is great for my monitor without twisting. It comes with a NATO rail to mount to cages that down have inbuilt ones. This is a must especially if your cage has a side NATO rail.

I love smallrig products and i own plenty of them however, i returned the item after unboxing it as the handle is wobbly and with slight twist the handle came off of the nato clamp! Luckily i was holding my camera rig FX30 and atomos display by the other hand! Smallrig must put more effort on re-evaluating, the engineering and quality control of this handle.

Super massiver und stabiler Tophandle. Die Drehbarkeit interessiert mich nicht wirklich, sehe bisher keinen nutzen dafür, aber die Größe des Handgriffs ist perfekt für eine große und schwere Cinema Kamera wie zum Beispiel die Blackmagic Pyxis.

Der drehbare SmallRig Top Handle mit NATO-Klemme hat mich sofort überzeugt. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist wie von SmallRig gewohnt absolut hochwertig und durchdacht. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass man den Griff sowohl als klassischen Top Handle als auch seitlich nutzen kann. Ich hatte ihn schon bei einem Shooting im Einsatz und der schnelle Wechsel zwischen horizontalen und vertikalen Shots war ein echter Gamechanger. Die 360°-Drehfunktion macht Spaß zu nutzen und erlaubt es, blitzschnell die Position zu wechseln. Gerade beim Umgreifen oder bei Low-Angle-Aufnahmen spart das enorm Zeit. Der Griff liegt dank der Verlängerung und der Silikonauflage sehr angenehm und sicher in der Hand, und durch die vielen Befestigungsmöglichkeiten (Cold Shoe, 1/4”-20, ARRI-Löcher) kann man problemlos Zubehör wie Monitor, Mikro oder Magic Arm anbringen. Ein kleines Manko ist mir aufgefallen: Die Arretierung sitzt ein paar Grad versetzt, sodass der Griff nie 100 % gerade ist. Für mich ist das kein Weltuntergang, aber bei dem Preis wäre eine präzisere Ausrichtung wünschenswert. Trotzdem: sehr zufrieden, top Funktionalität, robust und vielseitig. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die mehr Flexibilität am Rig wollen und auf eine hohe Qualität setzen.

Der Griff liegt gut in der Hand und macht das Handling der Kamera deutlich angenehmer. Die Länge von 162 mm und die weiche Silikonauflage sorgen für sicheren Halt, auch bei längeren Aufnahmen. Die Ein-Tasten-Drehung auf 360° funktioniert zuverlässig und erlaubt schnellen Wechsel zwischen Hoch- und Queraufnahme sowie verschiedenen Griffpositionen. Beim Verstellen halte ich das Gehäuse mit der anderen Hand, das fühlt sich stabiler an und schützt die Befestigungen. Die Verarbeitung wirkt robust und gut durchdacht. Die NATO-Klemme sitzt fest, die Mechanik läuft sauber und der Griff macht insgesamt einen langlebigen Eindruck. Mit einer Maximaltragkraft von 15 kg trägt er auch schwerere Setups ohne Probleme. Praktisch sind die vielen Befestigungspunkte: mehrere 1/4’’-20 Gewinde, Positionierungslöcher für ARRI-Monitorhalterungen und zwei Cold-Shoe-Steckplätze bieten viel Platz für Mikrofon, Leuchte oder Monitor. Beachten sollte man, dass die beiden hinteren Cold-Shoes nicht gleichzeitig nutzbar sind. Der Griff ist eine klare Hilfe für Handheld-Arbeiten, Rig-Aufbauten und Aufnahmen aus ungewöhnlichen Winkeln. Für Filmer, die Flexibilität, Stabilität und viele Montageoptionen brauchen, ist dieses SmallRig-Teil sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich liebe die Marke SmallRig und wurde auch hier wieder nicht enttäuscht. Der SMALLRIG Top Handle mit NATO-Klemme fühlt sich extrem wertig und stabil an. Der Griff liegt dank der gummierten Oberfläche super in der Hand und rutscht nicht, selbst wenn man längere Zeit damit arbeitet oder schwitzige Hände hat. Die NATO-Gleitschuhhalterung rastet perfekt und sicher an meinem Cage ein – kein Wackeln, kein Fummeln. Besonders genial finde ich die 360°-Drehfunktion: Mit einem Knopfdruck lässt sich der Griff in verschiedene Positionen bringen, was beim Filmen aus unterschiedlichen Winkeln enorm praktisch ist. Dazu kommen die vielen Anschlüsse: Cold Shoe Mount und mehrere 1/4''-20 Gewinde, die viel Flexibilität bieten, um Zubehör wie Mikrofone, Monitore oder Leuchten direkt am Griff zu befestigen. Trotz der leichten Bauweise ist er bis 15 kg belastbar – für mich absolut ausreichend, selbst mit größerem Setup. Fazit: Ein super durchdachtes Gadget, das meine Kamera-Workflows deutlich verbessert hat. Genau deswegen liebe ich SmallRig – durchdachte Lösungen, top Qualität und faire Preise.
