Sews Fast
This machine sews very fast end it has been quite reliable. I've been using it for over a year. I do have a number of minor issues. Although the machine is "self-threading" I have never successfully used that feature despite many attempts. The bobbin sometimes winds on unevenly, so that one has to guide the thread to avoid having it all around the bottom or the top end of the bobbin. The spring on the bobbin top does not work well, which is easy enough to compensate for just using a little screwdriver or other tool to flip up the top. My main complaint would probably be that the cord leading to the pedal is a bit too short. Another 6 inches would make a big difference in my comfort and in being able to manipulate the machine to sew at different angles. I suspect that someone in some factory decided to save some money by making the cord a bit shorter. Yes, by putting the machine at the very edge of the table I can reach the pedal, but if I'd like to push the machine back a bit to work on a larger fabric, then the pedal is dangling from the ground. Very inconvenient.
