Functional and surprisingly chic
Honestly pleasantly surprised at how classy these look for curtains hung with Velcro! They went up super easy, the “fold” (vs straight across) method wasn’t hard at all, and the scalloped edges and rope ties included are a nice touch. They block light well and look nice when not in use. Definitely a purchase I would make again

It does the job, but it is just okay
I live upstairs in an old home that was converted to a duplex more than 30-40 years ago. From what I understand, the house was built with reclaimed building supplies. The landlord has done repairs, but very few updates. The house is insulated, but not between floors. The layout of the apartment makes airflow and consistent temperatures throughout the house impossible. I have found the best solution is to treat the different areas of my home as their own "zones" and heat/cool as needed. I use infrared heaters and portable a/c units. I have birds, reptiles, and cats. The reptiles and the birds live in the living room, while the cats have the run of the house.I keep the temperature of my living room a little warmer as the minimum average temperature my animals require is 72-75 degrees. The heat lamps for the basking spaces keep that room at a suitable minimum ambient temperature if I retain the heat in that room. But I don't want my entire house those temperatures.I had previously used transparent, magnetic door curtains made from PCV that opened in the middle and were installed to the door frame on three sides with velcro. They work. HOWEVER, the plastic door-style curtain with the center opening does not leave any wiggle room regarding sizing. If you order a curtain that does not fit the doorway correctly, it can be hard to get through the curtains. I ordered a number of this style over the years and I regularly had an issue. I also found them hard to clean.A few months ago, I ordered a thermal door curtain that was attached to the top of the doorway with velcro, not the sides, and was light-blocking. I used it in the doorway between my kitchen and the living room. I noticed a difference IMMEDIATELY. I still had the velcro on the door frame from the previous PVC curtains and I used that to hang the new curtain. The temps in my living room became much more consistent and my electricity use went down because that curtain kept the heat in the living room (where the thermostat is conveniently located).I've been thinking about ordering another curtain for my bedroom doorway. My cats need to be able to come and go in and out of the bedroom as they please because I do not keep food/water/cat box in the bedroom. I also want my bedroom to be cooler than the other rooms in my house. This is why I decided to order another curtain.I am not as happy with this curtain, unfortunately.Pros:- It was easy to install. I was again able to use the velcro I had previously put up to hang this curtain. But it did come with everything you would need to hang it if you didn't already have it.- This is thinner than the other curtain I am using, I think it makes walking through more comfortable for the cats but maybe they don't care.- As long as it is wide enough, it is very forgiving when it comes to sizing.- It blocks light.- It helps retain temperatures.- Easier to walk through than center opening optionsCons:- This is obviously polyester and has the shine to prove it.- The text and instructions are poorly translated. This is a figure-it-out-yourself product. There are "Nursing Instructions" on the side of the box.- Comes with a rope to tie the curtain. It looks cheap.- The edges are scalloped or lacey. I'm not entirely sure. It's shown in ONE of the images, but I didn't realize it until I took it out of the box and I really don't like it.Overall, I'll use it. It works fine, but I have other products that I prefer more.

wonderful shade
These adhesive blackout curtains are a game-changer for anyone renting or just looking to avoid the hassle of drilling into walls. I was a bit skeptical about how well theyd stay on, but the peel-and-stick application worked surprisingly well. Its a no-fuss process that took me only a few minutes to set up, and the fact that they're reusable is a bonus. As for light blockage, they really do the job my bedroom is now pitch black, which has made a noticeable difference in my sleep quality. The material feels durable, and they have a nice look that fits well with my decor. No rods or heavy installation required makes them ideal for apartments, dorms, or temporary living situations. If you need a quick and effective solution to darken a room without drilling, I highly recommend these
