The handset is pretty much identical in size to a vintage one (but much lighter!) Had no problems connecting it to my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Range is really good... I left my phone in my bedroom and walked clear across the house with the handset. I'm using a vintage phone base for it's "charging station" - the matte color is in contrast with the shiny original (in case you were thinking of doing the same). The sound is not as good as my actual phone, but I could still hear everything well - just a lesser quality of sound. Definitely worth the price.

I bought this for my septagenarian parents who just got rid of their land line to help with the transition. It's very lightweight and fun. I think they are going to have a good laugh and hope they will find it useful. So far, they like it. The price is low enough that I bought one for myself just for fun. Sound quality is okay. For $20, it is what it is. The echo some reviews mention seems to be worse if the volume us up too high. I didn't notice it when I turned it down a little. What I love about it is that I can wash dishes while talking on the phone, holding it on my shoulder just like the old days. Lol. We used to have a desktop type phone with super long cords and I'd be all over the house with the phone. My mom likes it because she can have it in her room at night, while her phone is downstairs. She said she can hear it ringing, but can't make it in time. Maybe she'll get used to (wearing and) looking at her smart watch finally for the caller ID. It's only slightly annoying that the ear and mouth pieces are reversed from an old school phone, but not a huge deal. If you've used an old phone like this, it feels weird- like you're using it backwards but I'm sure you'll get used to it. Again, it's $20. If you've never used a phone like this, then it won't even phase you. The thing that bugs me most is the charger. Which again, is fine, but would be nice if it were micro-usb or usb-c so I don't have to have a fourth kind of cable sitting around. Not the end of the world.

It fell twice and it broke. The clarity is gone and replaced by an electronic buzzing.

It’s awesome. It works great with Bluetooth, totally clear connection. Just connect to Bluetooth, place the call on your cell phone, and select the Bluetooth phone as your speaker/microphone of choice. I love being able to put it on my shoulder like the old days and walk around as multitask. So comfortable. It is SO lightweight, easy to hold. The charge holds for quite some time. Don’t need to charge it very often at all. We bought this phone as a way for our daughter to talk to family members! She carries it around and talks to people, easy for her to hold and much less stimulating than a smartphone. It’s very cute to see. AND when she isn’t talking to someone it can actually be used as a way to listen to music/podcasts/audiobooks! So we will put her fave songs on for her to walk around the house and listen to. Sometimes we will put a kids podcast on and she pretend talks into the phone. Sometimes I use it instead of my own phone because it’s simply easier to talk on! Exact size of the old landline phones that I knew from the 70’s/80’s/90’s, but incredibly lightweight. Volume buttons on side if you’re talking with someone who isn’t speaking loudly.

The phone looks great but the volume isn’t great

My company moved to using a web-based phone and I refused to add it to my personal cell phone so I bought this receiver to use as my computer's speaker specific to the web phone and it works great! The battery is very long lasting, and fast to charge. Plus its pink and cute and such a conversation piece! Every that comes to my office loves it too

Button broke immediately

Tried a couple of the plug-in handsets for my cel phone and the volume was so low, that even a person with good hearing had difficulty. The problem with my cel is that because I have to hold it so close to my ear to hear, the mic is further away and I am often not received well on the other end. A full-size handset solves that and this wireless one seems to work well. I even had to turn it down a couple of clicks. It paired easily and battery life seems good, so I just leave it on, and when my cel phone rings, I pick up the handset to answer. If this continues to work well, I will probably get rid of the landline, as the only benefit was having a full size handset that I could use comfortably. Here is hoping that it works for the long term.

The phones very limited function is to receive calls or to make a call to the last number in phones history. Both these functions are driven through a single button. While the instructions are basic, and the translation to English is poor, the limited functionality means it's possible to work out how to use it anyway. For those who have trouble finding the phone speaker, this could be a valid alternative.

Ich verwende diverse Andoid Endgeräte, dessen Tastenfunktionen nicht alle gleich sind. Obwohl ich wenig mit dem Handy telefoniere brauchte ich eine intelligente Lösung und fand es mit diesem nostalgisch wirkenden Hörer, der sich als eindeutige Hilfe erwisen hat. Ich kann das Handy auf dem Schreibtisch liegen lassen, mich frei im Raum bewegen, und mich auf das wesentliche konzentrieren, nämlich das Gespräch. Super!
