Neat cuts with a high tpi
Bought this to replace a powerful rip cut blade that was dulling. The high tooth count on this is yielding nice clean cuts with a minimum of tearout. Trend is a trustworthy brand and this is no exception to their good quality workshop pieces.

Brilliant, specifically for aluminium and plastics.
The teeth on this saw are specially designed, with slightly shorter and longer teeth, and no 'set' to clear sawdust from the sides of the groove which is necessary when cutting wood.Take it easy with a cross-cut/compound mitre saw, and you'll be cutting aluminium profiles with ease. It's a cost-effective method of doing limited runs in a non-specialist workshop. If you look online you'll see proper equipment (used in the window industry, for example) are enormous built in-situ machines costing probably fifty thousand pounds. Even the three thousand pound machines offered for small workshop use obviously have the problem with 1. caution required, and 2. aluminium bits (see below), so twenty pounds for a blade is a steal! Two other tips. Use the Trend wax. And look out for bits; aluminium everywhere. I set up a dust-sheet as a screen to make clean-up easier!

Seems quite successful for aluminium and plastic
Good clean cuts on alu. Plastics often chip a little until the blade " worn in" - I have used four or five of thes blades in succession. My work is to cut alu and plastics in the main, with some wood. Does not react well to any steel or cardboard in my experience.

Excellent Blade
Very good blade, and excellent value for the money. Bought for cutting 2mm Acrylic sheet which works well, though the kerf is a bit wide for this task. Cuts timber smoothly, virtually no need for planing afterwards!

Good value for money not the sharpest tool in the box
For quality and sharpness then it’s reflected in the price you pay it’s not the sharpest saw I’ve purchased but it certainly does the job at the moment have used it for about two weeks and you can tell that the sharpness is definitely starting to fade but given the price paid that’s not too upsetting so if you’re using your saw periodically and this is the blade for you that you if you’re using the blade in a professional manner then I would fear it would go blunt very quickly

Cuts like a hot knife through butter
Brilliant blades for cutting aluminium, plastics or wood on a mitre or table saw. Have used on softwood timber, MDF, ply, foam board, maple, oak and cherry all with excellent results. They really do cut like a hot knife through butter, producing very little noise in the process. The cut is extremely fine and clean so there is very minimal surface finishing required afterwards. A great buy and a bargain price on Amazon.
