Battery Watering System Caps with Water Level Monitors for Batteries with 1/4-Turn Bayonet Style Mounts.

Motorhome batteries. I have four house batteries, with cables going from battery to battery. I had to disconnect cables in order to get caps off to check the water level. That was a big pain in the rear, so now all I have to do is look at the monitors. If water is needed, it is a simple process. Wish I had ordered these many years ago !

Do not need to remove each cell cap and look inside with a flashlight to see the level Do not need to remove the caps to fill the cell The new caps have built in vents to allow gas to escape when filling or charging Disadvantage: They add 2.5" to the battery height. Modified a standard 2-gallon spray can to quickly fill cells with distilled water. Just cut the spray tip off and clamp a 8 inch long hose to it.

I have these in my golf cart. I have 6 batteries, and these make it so much easier to determine which cell is low on water. They work extremely well.

After less than a year 2 of the floats have failed taking on fluid and showing low level causing overflow of battery acid when filling. Had read other reports of same issue. Have ordered another set of 6 since I have 8 batteries X 6 = 48. If more fail I will throw them away and replace with another type. I now remove unit to add water which defeats purpose of installing. BBEWARE!

If you have flooded lead acid batteries in your RV, these are a great way to check and refill them as needed. I would recommend them for ease of use and simple installation.

Super easy to view levels, although somewhat costly. Will move to new batteries when these batteries expire.

I purchased a set of these to use in my RV 2 x 6 volt batteries because it was a real pain to undo the connection cables and the other hardware in order to get the battery caps off and check the levels. I had neglected to adjust the float levels to accommodate the correct height of the float. As a result, I overfilled the cells, which leaked out the top while the batteries charged. I subsequently suctioned out some water to the appropriate level. After only a few months, the floats began to lose their buoyancy and most dropped down well below the green fill line despite the actual water level being full. I ordered and have received a new set of Ez caps to replace the original. I plan to eventually replace the flooded batteries with new AGM's but since these current batteries are less than a year old, I want to wait a bit longer. Hopefully, these new Ez caps will work until then. I will follow up this report after a few more months.

This will save you a lot of guessing when monitoring water level in your batteries.
