Awesome sound, amazing clarify of high and mid.
Awesome high end, clearly defined separation between ranges. Quality of sound drops off towards the bottom so sub required. After seeing that YouTube video, I experimented with board material and size before i found a combination that suited my ear. I connected 2 exciters in series per speaker, which were made up of 2*5mm foam boards sandwiched together for 1 exciter and a sperate larger EPS board for the other. For me it took a bit of time to adjust to dml speaker 'sound', compared to a loudspeaker it was more like listening to headphones, or maybe they just took a while to burn in, but after that adjustment my more expensive loud speakers sound less defined and less 'full' in comparison. I wouldnt now go back to loudspeakers for my main speakers now.

Work great for a panel speaker system
Bought these for a speaker system as from the techingredients YouTube channel to connect to an icepower 125asx2. Mounted to a 1200mm X 600mm X 30mm XPS insulation board. Along with a small subwoofer, these sound really good, way better than the small speakers I was using before. Not loud but enough volume to fill the room. Once I coat the XPS panel to blend in with the wall, it'll be a really neat way of getting a decent sound with no massive speaker cabinets

Dayton Audio DAEX25FHE-4 very good for Live events like concerts, gigs etc
For £14.99 you can't go wrong with these. That's beer money. I have spent more and been less impressed (Dayton Audio DAEX25SHF-4 Steered High Flux 25mm Exciter 20W come to mind). Bang for buck these are better than Dayton Audio DAEX32EP-4. Live sound stage and very dynamic don't let the physical build put you off (compared to the more substantial looking DAEX32-4). These are actually heavier than the DAEX32EP-4. and the resonance is lower frequency too. Downsides are that there is less bass than the DAEX32EP-4 but there is more clarity and dynamics. These drivers love bigger panels as the bass is enhanced a bit (to make up). Some people may want to add a subwoofer as well but I prefer a more natural sound. Guitars and piano's sound like these instruments without tonal colour added But they are not for Drum and Bass heads. So a Plywwod sheet of 6mm 1200 x 300mm works a treat especially if hung using Peerless Universal Stands (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008S4J6OQ/) Back of the speakers picture with this review showing the driver mounted 2/5th, 3/5th rule (with extra VHB tape added)

simple and very effective on the right material
Ive installed two of these behind MDF wall panels, driven by an old amplifier fed by an Echo input device from Amazon. Working very well, addressed some buzzing on the panels at low frequency with some silicone at the panel edge.

It's ok, but I don't believe 24W
This gives a reasonable sound quality, but when the power is ramped up, it distorts very quickly. I don't believe 24W at all; the amplifier I used is only 40W peak into 2 channels so this was getting <20W peak vs its claimed 24W RMS. The Monacor is better in my experience.

Knowhere near the power of the 30mm version quite dissapointing I returned them.

Interesting experiment
Essentially a voice coil that you bolt/glue to a rigid (but not too rigid) panel of say 2 by 3 feet or more. Sound is respectable and bass extension gets better, the bigger the panel. Reminiscent of the NXT panels of the noughties that had the hifi press getting tumescent with the "near electrostatic qualities" of a voice coil glued to cardboard. Sure you can make them thin but the panel size isn't a small consideration. However can see them being effectively used behind ply dado panels with some effect.

Fun but small
I bought this little device with the intention of testing it on a home theatre couch, independently amplified with a lepy2020 and using my theatre amps' sub woofer outputs or phone 3.5mm out as signal. It is MUCH too small to work bolted to a couch frame, but I had a lot of fun hooking it up to ceiling tiles, walls, tables, my homes vents, pretty much anything rigid. The sound quality achieved by holding it against an MDF ceiling tile was better than expected, probably better than some low end soundbars, but in the end this was just a fun toy. I will be keeping it around for future tinkering projects (maybe hooking it up to a rigid computer chair as ive seen other users do for additional "rumble" effects). This would probably be a great little science lesson for kids.

good vibrations
These things are awesome. I wired them in my pickup and just let the magnet stick to my cab body. Sounds a little tinny but these things will crank. I wish I had 50 of them throughout my house!
