Best tent experience ever! (6 person version)
You can stand up in it. All of it. The ceiling is super high. Laugh at all the other dome tents that require crawling into, that you might be able to awkwardly stand just in the middle! The door is wonderful. Going in and out of the tent has never been easier. It actually acts stiff like a hinged door would, making quick pops in and out so much easier than with a floppy zipper door. This of course does have a zipper the whole way around (which works smoother than my other cheaper tents) with flaps to block rain. Not only is the door action flawless, I was impressed with how it kept bugs out without using the zipper. While we definitely zipped up when not using it for extended periods, we could easily rely on the velcro and stiffness popped up under the rain flaps to make a fairly decent seal. It wouldn't keep tiny crawly bugs out, but it definitely does a good job keeping flying bugs out.The windows in this thing are awesome. There's like seven of them and they simply zip up and down as panels. They're great to gaze out of on a lazy afternoon. They work well to keep rain out, too.The rainfly (roof) also works well. Although it seems like it doesn't cover much but the top, it doesn't really need to do much more. In fact, we didn't even use the rope tie-downs for it - the velcro seemed to keep it plenty taut. We had moderate short bouts of rain overnight and it was 100% dry inside. The closets do add a nice bit of space, though they look a bit weird on the 6-person version. They're nice to shove things out of the way. There's so much space in this tent compared to other tents I've been in. My last "4-person" tent isn't really that comfortable for two people. This is luxurious for two people. We called it our little airbnb in the woods. Also, I LOVE THE COLORS. The thing just looks awesome.Setup is moderately more complicated than a simple 2-rod dome tent but it's actually quite clever and intuitive. I set it up by myself (awkwardly in my basement, it was wet out) as practice. Basically, a spidery bit arcs out 6 (I know, not 8, not a real spider) flexible rods, which meet in a macaroni-type elbow at each corner and mid-front and back. Stiff poles prop up each side/corner and meet at the elbow. That's really the fundamentals. The rest is just clips and rainfly and extra rods for the door and closets. It's REALLY fast with two people, especially if you know what to do.The paper instructions are kinda hard to parse, so I definitely recommend a practice setup so you're not caught in a rainstorm doing it for the first time. Youtube videos were helpful for me here. One of my flexible rods actually shattered as soon as I tried to use it. Luckily it was just for one of the closets - not a big deal at all, it just looked weird on the outside. I'll have to figure out how to get a replacement. I hope that isn't happening for one of the structural rods on anybody's.I didn't originally realize there was a 6-person version of this tent and almost bought the 8-person. There's only two of us and I'm really glad I went with the 6. Not only is it much cheaper, it's still got loads of space even with a queen airbed in there. I'm sure if we needed to accommodate another person or two it would have been little issue and still have been comfy. (Yes, I'm sure you could cram 6 people in if you really wanted.)I'm really enamored with this tent. It was my girlfriend's first time camping and we had an amazing 3 days and nights with this tent!

Love it so far
We purchased this tent in July 2019 for $162. We are a family of 5, two adults and 3 children. So far we have taken it out 3 times camping. Twice to the beach, and once to the Alvord Desert. It has been a great tent for us and so far I really like it.The tent sets up quickly, although the instructions are a little confusing. Once we figured it out, we can set it up in less than 10 minutes with the 2 of us.The door feature is very lovely, being able to just pull the door open. At night we zipped the door up but during the day just closed it with the small Velcro piece, even our toddler could easily go in and out of the tent. The Alvord Desert was incredibly remote, and we pitched the tent directly into the dry lakebed. There were a few days of high winds, and the tent held up just fine. The stakes held the rain cover in place even in some pretty strong winds. It was not very comfortable to be in, because it was very noisy, but it provided shelter, so it did its job.It fit two queen airbeds easily, plus all of our stuff. The closet areas are very nice to have, but we ended up using them as a place for the dogs to sleep, which worked great. The adults are 6' tall, and we can stand up all over inside the tent.So far it hasn't rained while we've camped so I can't speak to that. It feels sturdy and I am not worried about it, but I will report back if we have leaks come fall/winter.The two things we don't like:-The room divider is a small sheet of fabric and just sort of hangs in the middle of the tent, it doesn't zip/secure in, so it doesn't provide great privacy. My older kids wouldn't get dressed with anyone else in the tent even with the divider up, so it was a bit of a pain getting everyone dressed and ready in the mornings.-There is only one door. Since it is so roomy, it would have been nice to have another door.

Great tent! Pockets don't really work.
We bought this tent around 2 years, maybe 3 years ago. We've used at least 4 times a year. It's incredibly easy and quick to raise and fold. We've raised and folded it in nearly complete darkness. The only complaint would be that the closet pockets do not work. First, the poles have nothing on the tent to put the ends into to cause them to hold up. Second, this is the only place where the tent is not waterproof. The first time we went camping with this tent, it rained heavily. I had some clothes and shoes in one of the closet pockets, and they got wet. It wasn't a big deal, but we know not to use the pockets when it rains. The tent will hold 2 queen size air mattresses with about a foot and a half between them for the divider. Standing has not been a problem for any of us. My husband is about 5'10". Overall, we love our tent. It's quite durable and still fits in the carrying case every time, unlike every other tent we've had. It rarely gets hotter inside that it is outside. The rainfly is really waterproof. Still impressed with my purchase after this long. Best tent ever.
