I have been throwing knives for over 10 years and these are my go to knives for the price and quality. Cold steel never disappoints with their products. They do come sharpened at the tip and ready to be thrown. I use a sharpening stone every couple months to keep them sharp after many throws and they have been holding up for years as long as you oil them and keep them clean. Don’t forget to clean after use otherwise they are carbon steel and will rust. If these were a bit thicker I’d give them a 5 star but overall amazing throwing knife.

I dabble in throwing every few weeks I'll pick it up again so I wouldn't say I'm a professional by any means but I'm proficient from anywhere to around 5-20ft with these knives. I've thrown them well over 300 times and the only damage they've taken is broken the tips off and a few notches along the edge due to hitting the other knifes that are stuck (the grouping is super close so they tend to hit near the blade or the handles so I'd be very surprised if the tips were still pristine.) I haven't touched up the blades at all because they still stick into the oak tree I'm using as target practice very easily and I don't feel they've taken any drop in performance without the pinpoint tip intact. I would recommend buying more than just 1 so you can spend more time throwing the knives rather than retrieving them from the target I personally have 3. Great option for the price and I use them to throw half turn, full turn, and no spin and they work great in my experience.

The tip broke off almost immediately, about on the fourth throw, however even without the tip it stuck well. Feels good in the hand and releases well.

I like the 14 in throwers because they are similar to throwing an axe. The balance and weight is what I was hoping for. The metal is cheep but I have seen way worse. The tip will curl on you so I would recommend filing it down a little before you throw. Bring the tip back to were the metal is thicker. The finish will chip off quickly but hey, I have spent a lot more on a lot less. Go Throw Bro ;)

I bought 3 of these knives and so far threw each one once at about 8 ft from a soft basswood round. the 1st 2 stuck nice and deep and seemed well balanced. the 3rd one broke off at the tip on the very first throw. It was a good throw too, but tip broke off on impact. We'll see how the other 2 hold up, but I would not buy these brittle knives again. Cheap China steel.

Sharp! Throws well!

Very durable knives. I just started learning to throw knives and these make me look better than I am. They will chip if they hit each other but as I get better that should happen less.

Müll. Die Spitze bricht spätestens nach dem 2. Wurf ab. Außerdem ist es schlichtweg gefährlich. Da es ein unbalanciertes Stück Blech ist wird die Energie vom Aufprall gespeichert und so wieder freigesetzt, dass es mit Schwung zurückspringt, wenn man es nicht perfekt wirft. Ist mir nach einem verkackten Wurf geradewegs in den Fuß geflogen, die Narbe sieht man immer noch. Damit lernt man nicht Messer werfen, höchstens übermenschliche Reflexe.

Schade das ein defekte artikel erhalten habe, weil habe vor gehabt noch 2 dazu bestelen.

Right weight to perform a single spin throw in a right range. And safe to perform half spin as well without cutting hand. It’s better than my kunai to be honest

The tip of mine snapped on my first session. And pretty badly. Although my target was way too hard so I won't blame the product. It is also super fun to throw !
