Pros: No joke, when I first plugged this in I thought it was broken, that's how quiet it is. It's perfect for my application, which is a nano tank for shrimp with a sponge filter.Cons: I wouldn't use this with anything over 10 gallons at the most, it's just not powerful enough.This is a great product that I will definitely be buying again now that I see just how nice it is. You won't be disappointed, so long as your expectations are at all reasonable. It blew mine away.

It's so quiet, you have to look to make sure it's pumping. Love this little guy. I wanted more movement in my big aquarium and this pump/stone does the job. I've had it for over a year and it's still pumping away, quiet as the day it arrived.

Keep in mind this will only work on small air stones and doesn't have enough pressure for larger ones. I have not tried it on a bubble bar. I had to use the stone that this unit came with. It does create a lot of bubbles with that one.

Very loud unit. Just as loud as some larger ones I’ve used in the past. In fact, I could hear it buzzing annoyingly even as I was on the other side of my living room. Given great reviews, I thought mine may be defective, but apparently many others have had same experience. Immediately knew I had to return the product about 2 seconds into plugging it in. Also, air output is week (which I expected given size) but it couldn’t even bubble up the air stone it came with. Don’t waste your time.

I still gave it 5 stars even though the air stone leaked at the connection point. As for the air pump (WHT SQUARE) it works amazingly good on my 40 gallon tank. I hate the other ones that are bulky make noise and are always in the way, this one is discreet and small. Just set it and forget it.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very quite air pump. Small little pump that has a suction to stick to side of your fish tank. A long hose to attach to the air stone that creates nice flow of oxygen for your fish. All my fish loves it always see them swimming around it.The flow is gentle enough that's my pleco goes on it to clean it.My air hose arrive a little bent so initially it wasn't flowing well so I cut off that area and it works better. My air hose is just a little shorter to reach the bottom of my tank but eventually I will get a replacement.A quick note as the direction in the manual you need to take the hose of and on few times to get a better flow.Also great customer service. Had to contact them few times and they were very helpful.Update: after a year this aerator just stop working. I can hear the pump motor working but the air release is maybe 10% compare when out of the box. I don't see any leakage and tried a new tube so something gone wrong with the pump. Worked great for a year now it's useless. Need to get a replacement.

It would be great for a bubbler, but for running sponge filters. It’s not strong enough.

Very silent air pump. Gives plenty of bubbles for tank and easily can be hidden out of site. Only down side is this pump not strong enuf to power bubble bar stones.
