Absolutely beautiful! The sound is very nice, mid tone to deeper (if that makes sense). The blue is very bright, more teal in color. Very well made, it isn't very heavy making it easy to move around to different locations. I love it

I remember summer nights spent at my grandparents' cabin. I have many fond memories of time spent there, but some of my favorite times were spending lazy afternoons reading in a hammock with the sun filtering down through the leaves of the beech, oak, and maple leaves, and sleeping on the screened in porch listening to the loons calling across the lake through the night. Both of these were accompanied by the gentle sounds of wind chimes. My grandfather had been an engineer in the navy, and a civil engineer when he was discharged, and among the many things that he made with his own hands was a set of wind chimes he made for my grandmother. He made them from lengths of aluminum pipe, which he cut, balanced, and adjusted to be tuned perfectly. We have tried a few times over the years to find a set of wind chimes which would replicate those which my grandfather had made, but nothing has come close... until now. Other wind chimes do not have great durability, usually with the aluminum tubes too thin to both last and provide a deep, rich tone. Other wind chimes have thinner tubes, and they corrode or get aluminum rot fairly easily. Other wind chimes have unreliable strings and get tangled easily. But these are different. Let me tell you about it. Construction: The tubes of this set of chimes are thick and durable. The wood parts are finished, stained, and sealed. I chose a color that works well with our home and complements the wood tones of the rocking chairs on our porch. The nylon strings, so far, seem stronger than the usual fishing line type string that is used in many other wind chimes. There's an adjuster to place the striker at the perfect height. Look: We bought a set that is black with dark wood tones which compliments our house well, but there are multiple different color options to choose from. Value: We bought these during Amazon Prime Day(s), but even outside of that special sale, these are at a great price. With some items you have to sacrifice quality to get a good price, but not so for these; you get an excellent set of wind chimes at a price lower than many other sets. Tone: The tone is melodic, cheerful, and whimsical, bringing nostalgia of days gone by. The sound is not "tinny" or "tinkly," more like tubular bells than jingly keys. It makes for great background music as we sit on our porch on a breezy afternoon reading and watching the world go by. Nostalgia: These are not the wind chimes that my grandfather made. Those, like him, are lost to the past. However, when we sit, rock, read, and listen, I can remember those times.

I live in a 150 apartment community of sorts where the front area as three or four large tables and a few benches, some portable chairs and a double swing. A graveled walkway goes underneath a large tree. OK it’s a retirement community. I got these chimes to put up into a large tree over a pathway where people like to put their chairs and hang out, have conversations, etc. In this area you can't guarantee that when you leave anything out at night, it won't be vandalized or taken. I looked at another Wind Chimes that started at nearly $70 for this size and went up to $78 for the next size, and then $139 for the size I really liked. I got these on sale for $20, I heard then on an Amazon clip, and I thought, why not? It was a very good decision as these chimes are very nice and everyone loves them. I used dark green colored P-chord (strong yet small parachute chord). I put a small weight on on end and after a few tries, and after trimming some small branches, got it maybe 15 feet up and over a limb of the tree and back down again. I tied a loop to hook the chimes too and I hoisted the chimes up into the canopy. I tied the chord low around the base of the tree, just as I had also done with a humming bird feeder I put up several months ago. It worked out great. I got the black chimes as I wanted them to be there, but not be there at the same time, if you take my meaning. They are not hidden, but they do not stand out. They are there to be heard more than to be seen. And they are heard beautifully as these chimes make a great sound. I was worried that as there is an eleven story apartment building pretty close to the chimes, someone would get offended if they were too loud at night. But no, the sounds made by these chimes are juuuust right. They are soft but very clear to anyone in the immediate area. They carry well too. Beautiful strong clear tones. It isn't just very high tones, but a nice variety of high and medium tones.

Such a beautiful wind chime! It’s great quality and lasts all seasons. No rusting either. The sounds it makes is so beautiful and not annoying like the other cheap ones I bought before.

great chimes with a great sound . i have placed them in the centre of my gazebo and it takes just a little breeze for them to react . i cannot speak as to the weather resistance of these due to me placing them under cover but am more than happy with them . An excellent product
