Deeee-licious and a quick, transportable delight!
Other than getting to have octopus completely fresh caught and prepared, this is absolutely tops! Having these cans in the pantry for a day you need something quickly, these are amazing. The octopus quality is terrific and the sauce is authentic and perfect. Great alone or on a salad or as an accompaniment to virtually anything. It's octopus so it isn't smelly like some canned fish so you can take it with you on the go or if hiking or traveling - just pop it open and enjoy!

VG, about the same as Matiz @ about 30% higher price.
I bought two of this brand. One in a sauce which was great. The plain in olive oil was perfectly fine, about the same as Matiz, but 30% more expensive. Unless I find it quite a bit cheaper, I'm not likely to buy it again.

Tender and tasty!
Some canned octopus is really tough, but this was nice and tender and the flavor was good.

Not worth the extra $$$$$
My go-to canned squid for enjoying with a martini is Goya Jumbo Squid in Garlic Sauce. Thought I'd splurge on a higher $$$ exotic brand. Big mistake, this product had a definite texture issue; too slimy. The sauce wasn't good either, barely got thru half of it before I bailed. I'll stick with the Goya
