使いにくいですが、露出が合うと非常に華やかで濃厚な色の表現力をお楽しみいただけます。

時代に逆行するように使っていますが、やはり鮮やかな「絵」そのものがここにあるという実感がありますし、何より発色が本当に自然で素晴らしいと思います。アナログレコードが見直されつつある中、デジタルにない美しさ、撮ることの楽しみ、存在感を実感できるフィルムの時代を切り開いてもらいたいと思います。

ここ10年は少なくとも、リバーサルフィルムの需要及び銘柄ともに大幅に減少し、銀塩の文化そのものが消滅の危機を感じている昨今。画像の保存がデータ化された状態となるデジタルとは異なり、原版という形が存在し、保存状態の管理さえしっかりと怠らなければ、いつでもダイレクトプリントを楽しむことができるという、決定的なアドバンテージが、今現在においてもあると言えます。そうした中、少なくともこの富士フィルム誇る古豪『ベルビア50』は、持ち味である重厚で彩度の高い色の再現性を、令和の時代も受け継いで行くことになるでしょう。

20年ぐらい忘れていたけど、久しぶりに使って見たが、やはり素晴らしい鮮やかさを持ったポジフィルムの最高傑作と思います

I was a National Geographic photographer for a decade and for every assignment I literally shot hundreds of rolls of Fuji Velvia film. Its ability to capture colors quickly made it everyone’s favorite film. Now, it’s all but impossible to find and at $56 per roll it’s very expensive. If you still have a film and you’re lucky enough to find a fresh roll I totally recommend you try it. There’s never been a better color transparency film.

Best film for landscape photos. Best for warm colours

I used this film mostly to get pictures of mountains and flowers on a trip to Crested Butte in Colorado and the results were superb! The colors were even more vibrant than I thought and the image contrast exceeded my expectations. Every element of the scene showed up very well, even when a digital picture of the same scene made a distant mountain peak look less distinct or more hazy. I hope that Fuji keeps making Velvia for a long time, and that it becomes easier to find.

Hard to find places to process in the US. Saturated colors just pop! My favorite of all time.

the extremely limited availability of this film has resulted in the last remaining stock being sold at prices far in excess of the value of the product. save your money and get some E100 instead. it's better and cheaper.
