I think so. I have a big head also and they fit fine.

Sorry but these glasses were not effective for any type of driving.

Can the lenses be replaced with prescription lenses

If you have the same size lenses, try replacing them. But I don't recommend doing that, it may damage the lens.

are these lenses very dark?

Remember that they are polarized, and, as such, will make some things appear darker than the tint would indicate. I find them suitable for quite bright days.
