I have been really into cats eye gel polish recently, so when I got permission (from my mom) to buy some, I knew I had to get some cute ones! I got the purple, and a deep blue. I only used the purple so far, but I can say it’s quite possibly the best nail polish I’ve ever used. Super vibrant (only needing 2 coats to show a deep color), being super easy to use (just have to put it in a little longer than some other brands), and I used a magnet from a different brand, but it still turned out great! I recommend this for any people new to gel polish, since it definitely is easy to use, super cute when the shimmer from the magnet sets after being cured, and it doesn’t even have a bad smell like most gel polishes!!

I’m new to gel polish, but this Cat Eye Gel kit made it easy to get a fun, unique look at home. The color is really pretty, and that shimmer effect is legit eye-catching. I love that it comes with the magnet so you can create the cat eye design without any extra hassle. It’s low odor, has a decent thickness, and feels safer than other polishes I’ve tried, which is a big plus. Just a heads up, you do need an LED or UV lamp to cure it, but once you get the hang of the timing, it’s pretty straightforward. I shake the bottle or warm it up a bit before using, especially in colder weather, and it helps the polish go on smoother to get the perfect coverage. I’ve gotten compliments on my nails, and it’s fun to experiment with different base colors to change up the look. Definitely a cool way to save money on salon visits and have a little DIY nail fun.

So this little part of the bottle labeling fell off imediately after opening the package. It isn't even glued on. Annoying but not effecting the product itself. It is a thick gel and the brush neck is more flat than round. So when you try to put it in the bottle or get off excess gel, it clogs up the neck and makes it hard to get the brush back in without making a mess. I have a picture of the amount of space when trying to put it back in the bottle. I am not a fan of this brush design. The instructions seemed to be for a basic gel polish, not the cats eye polish. There was no instructions on how to use the magnet with the polish. Since I had never used this kind of product before, I had to look up information. I did shake the bottle before using it for the first time. When I applied the first 2 coats, there was a slight glimmer to it but it did not respond to the magnet. I then shook it up for a lot longer and applied a 3rd coat. I finally was able to get a reaction. The magnet is small and not on any handle, so it does make it a little hard to manuver. Because of it's small size, I am storing it in a small bag with the polish. It would have been helpful if there was metal in the handle of the polish bottle so that it would stick to it so it stays together.
