How long is a 2kg likely to last 2 male ferrets? Also, would a 12kg bag likely go off before it was all used?

It’s hard to answer this as I don’t know how you keep your ferrets, if they are free fed and if they are castrated. I have 5 boys that are free fed, all castrated, 4 outdoor, one disabled indoor. I use a lockable food seal bin for 12 kg bags and transfer it into lock and lock tubs for easy top up. 2kg lasts no time maybe around half a week. Any food needs to be stored correctly or it won’t just turn bad with air contact, pathogens etc but you risk having infestations of grain mites and other bugs getting at it also. Sorry I can’t give you a simple direct answer on this as how much they eat also depends on the season, breed of them, age, etc, etc.

Is this the same food as the one in the red packet?
