where do I put the catnip?

Additionally, there is a replacement pack of catnip included in the box which can be used once the original one loses its attractiveness over time. This toy can flap its wings and you can hang it on a cat teaser rod or wherever its convenient to hang as there is a buckle on the back of the bird. However it cannot fly by itself. Where is the catnip that is included with the toy supposed to go?

Good Question - I don't think that it goes inside the switch area (round plastic area) because it's quite small. We wound up putting the cat nip in a plastic back and then placed the ball inside to "soak" up the cat nip scent. Hope this helps.

Is this toy suppose to move around by itself?

Hello, Thank you for interest in our product. This toy won't move around by itself. It is a chirping toy and if you turn it on, once cats tap or touch it, it will chirp with different sounds and cats will be attracted.
